'93 Florida beat Bama in the SEC champion ship game. '94 same thing, '96 again. Gators 7 SEc titles in last 17 years, 2 National championships, 3 Heismans. In the last 20 years the Gators are the dominant team in the SEC. Bama in the last 20 years is 3 SEC titles and 2 NC, not bad.
I find it amusing that another team's fans resort to cutting out a piece of years to make their team look stronger. Let's be real. You talk about the past 20 years, with what purpose? To make Florida look better in a broader aspect, but take the entire history of the two teams and Alabama would literally crush Florida. If you don't want Alabama's history brought up, don't cut out a piece of 20 years.
Saturday is coming and no one in the past 20 years are on either team.
Here is the my point Crimson. Bama history is wonderful, one-if not the finest in college football. Its just not relevant. If it was---follow me here----then Princeton with its 28 National Championships and Yale with its 27, would be relevant. They simply are not. Do you get that. Its fairly simple. Once again, Bama has a rich and wonderful history and you should be proud of it. I'm pretty proud of what UF has done in the last 20 years for sure.

I don't think you actually understood MY point, knight. I was saying that what Florida has done in the past 20 years (much better than any of the years after that) and what Alabama has done overall, especially considering our downward spiral when Stallings left up until last year, is NOT relevant to Saturday's game.
At the most, these players have given their teams five good years of their lives. No one that played 7 years ago, let alone 20 YEARS ago is playing Saturday.
YOu did not express it that way at all. Saturday the slate is clean and we play ball. If I were a Bama fan I'd be very scared. I'm nervous enough about this and I really, and truly believe we have the better team. Anything can happen when you've got 20 year old kids playing. Go Gators!

Tebow played like a Heisman and should win his second one(I don't believe that will happen) congratulations to Bama, they played tough, but those Gators were just to much.
