Now I find that Cuban legend pianist Alfredo Rodriguez is part of this work. Alfredo is passed a way not so long in Paris, but before he comes to Bogotá international jazz festival and performs a tremendous descarga in jazz, the Cuban jam session. What a memories! I meet Alfredo personal during his visit to Bogotá; he put a lot of hot chili in his concert, and like me, he never abandoned his African roots. Jairo Archbold
How nice to wake this morning, open the PC and get respond from our African brothers with the best seasoned plate of the day name WARICO. I been listen a lot of Soukous from Zaire my whole life, and here in the Caribbean we love gabonese Oliver N’ Goma very much. I never out from my African roots; I think my father is descendant from Ghana people, not so far from Amadou Balake homeland in Burkina Faso. Off course I’m a heavy Salsa and Cuban music fan and dancer. Big thanks. VIVA NELSON MANDELA!
