  • you are an IDIOT! study the word before you make a video trying to dicredit the word. wow their is no contradiction there only that the timeline goes backwards. you know nothing but you shall be prayed for. you need it.

  • this is not what this was for, this census as you are talking about was in fact for the return to their home from which they was born, so that not for an account but to find the man child that is the messiah. why don't you learn the time table in the days of old. the time goes backwards

  • your drunk man...lol..sober up for GODS sake

  • I didn't mean to insult you,I just meant Faith is something inside a human being. We can't prove it. Can you prove something you, yourself believe in that is way down inside you?it's not with the mind which is reasoning, although we need to do that, faith is invisable. That's why war over religion is futile to me.Jesus said,go and tell the Good News,if someone doesn't recieve you, shake the dust off your feet and move on...He didn't say, beat 'em ovr the head with a bible, you know?

  • let us not forget the contradiction of the all loving god having a feud with satan, yet sends people to hell. yeah, makes so much sense with no contradiction at all -_-

  • @HopeAngel777 THIS is what I am talking about. This poster is very ignorant about Christianity and, what it is about. (ignorant meaning no knowlege) Answer me this Hopeangel, should Adolh Hitler, Joseph Stalin, Pol Pot etc., be welcomed into Heaven?

  • @pmedic063252 according to most religious officials and the bible, all you need to do to have everlasting life is to accept god and jesus. then all sins will be forgiven. i can understand hell being temporary for most, but it still brings me to my point. god and satan are fighting for souls. satan lives in hell according to mythos, god wants everyone to only obey him and anyone who does not gets tossed aside to satan, though he doesn't want him to get anyone at all. i was raised by a preacher

  • @HopeAngel777 so i know what i am talking about. to say i have no knowledge about christianity when i have it shoved down my throat is in itself an ignorant statement.

  • That's it? :) That's the best contradiction? :) Remove spaces in between and g****e it

  • I think if you are serious about trying to 'get to grips' with the Bible then you should study a degree course in theology at the University of Cambridge, England. I am a sure professor in theology they will be able to answer your questions.

  • Come on over to the WINNING SIDE. You know you want to. OPEN your heart and NOT your mind. God is calling you.He has work for you....

  • @sweet161402 The winning side? As the world becomes more educated religion is dying quicker and quicker, I hope its fully gone within the next 20 years, it will be a better world for sure.

  • A Latin inscription discovered in 1764 adds weight to the idea that Quirinius was in a position of authority in Syria on two separate occasions. There was definitely a taxing during this time and therefore, quite possible, an associated census, the details of which may have been common knowledge in Luke's time, but are now lost to us.

  • this guys a moron. jesus birth is discussed in all 4 gospels. and even the 3 lost gospels

  • Love by the standards that Jesus meant and demonstrated. Nothing else matters. There are always sickos that do warped things. If you want to blame God for every single cruel, stupid, manipulative thing, done by every idiot who ever had a wicked, selfish agenda, then you are simply mad at God, and grinding an ax... kind of like King Heathen here!

  • I mean a REAL Christian. Like the ones I hang out with. Jakkentokk, lots of people misrepresent themselves. They do so to get jobs, as an excuse to steal, to kill... Just because there are counterfeit 100 dollar bills, does that mean there are no REAL ones! There are counterfeit Christians too. But Jesus said: "You'll know the REAL ones by their love."

  • @inriver430 Love by the standards of Bible times or today?

  • The first chapter of Matthew states that Joseph is the father of Jesus.

  • KingHeathen, former follower of Christ, HERE is your legacy, according to the Word of God: MARK 9:42 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them if a large millstone were hung around their neck and they were thrown into the sea." You have made some bad choices. I pray that you repent. How true is Psalm 53:1 "Only fools think there is no God"

  • You think Hitler was a Christian? Al qaeda & Osama Bin Laden? Allah-the Christian God? I am talking about Jesus Christ, you poor, decieved, misinformed person. And I am talking TO kingheathen, a former follower of Christ. And he is not preaching atheism to Hitler, or any other mass-murderers. He is precing his message of hopelessness to bunches of young internet surfers, spiritual seekers, looking for hope in a dark world. And my motive is that I love Jesus Christ with all my heart. Period.

  • @inriver430 Hitler was a Christian. The Nazis were Christian. If not, why in the hell was the phrase 'Gott mit uns' (God is with us) on the belt buckle of the Nazi uniform?

  • Hope for what?

  • Thank u for the info and for having the courage to talk about the truth. Personally, I just want to know the truth. Thanks for enlightening truth seekers

  • It kills me to know that their are people trying to talk people OUT of having faith. What happened to freedom of religion? Look, I'm probably younger than any of the people commenting on this video. True Christians will NEVER cease having faith, so you might as well stop wasting your time. God loves you, but you have been blinded by mankind.

  • Luke’s account points to a census taken before Herod the Great’s death Why? It would have been highly implausible to think that after Herod’s kingdom had been divided between his three sons in 4 B.C. that people in Nazareth under Herod Antipas would have traveled to Bethlehem, the territory belonging to Archelaus for purposes of taxation It makes more sense that such traveling would have been done when all the territories were under Herod’s rule himself and Augustus called for an overall census

  • 1% of people uses "CE" jackass...call it whatever you want because you know what? it all revolves around Christ hahahaha

  • Comment removed

  • Wow. Do you really want to spend your life talking people OUT of having faith in God? The fact is, you (like those you feel you are enlightening) have NO REAL PROOF of the existence or non-existence of an after-life, a deity, or whatever. What you are espousing is just as baseless as what you are refuting!

Faith in God has helped so many people in so many ways. Is talking people out of it a GOOD thing? When you take your final breath, is THIS really the legacy you want to leave behind?

  • @inriver430 Religion has inhibited progress and caused more wars, death, persecution, ignorance, genocide, and hate than anything else in history. And the mindlessness and group-think that it gives rise to causes people to vote in horribly harmful ways that adversely affect the rest of us. Maybe you didn't vote against gay rights or abortion or to force kids to say a christian prayer in school, but others did -because of religion. Does voting this way have a positive affect? no.

  • @inriver430 You have no idea who I am or what my "legacy" is...

That said, "faith in God" has also KILLED and IMPOVERISHED people around the world.

    Education > faith

  • @KingHeathen I think that it has been faith in corrupt leaders of Christianity that has killed and impoverished people around the world. Corrupt leaders say that it is God's will of whatever they cause, when it is actually their will, fueled by their greed for money and power.

  • @KingHeathen

What a dumb reply. % of religious idiots who have killed/impoverished people- miniscule compared to the millions who've helped/fed/clothed/housed others in God's Name. You're not adressing them! Just young internet surfers! I've spent 35 yrs. serving humanity, fed thousands, led medical clinics in poor nations, & so much more, out of love for Jesus. While you, a former Christian, got disillusioned in church, now sit around on your computer and preach atheism. Pathetic.

  • @inriver430 Biggest charity donations in history are from atheists. The biggest charities in the world are nonreligious. Those are facts. You can google in later. Hitler believed in God and killed 9 million people in camps alone. The Crusades. Witch hunts. Religious genocide through history. 9/11 (in case the ignorant do not know, Allah is the Christian God). Millions are slaughtered in God's name in the Bible alone. You are ignorant and only helping people to make God happy.

  • @KingHeathen Mr atheist sir, I have a question What good has atheism done in the last century? Maybe I should go and talk to Stalin or Hitler?

  • @Hawk291256 If you want to talk about Hitler, then you are talking about a Roman Catholic. A Roman Catholic who spoke out against atheism. A Roman Catholic persecuting Jews. A Roman Catholic who lead Christians. Christians who proudly wore "Gott Mit Uns" (God Is with us) on their uniforms.

Try to learn some real history and stop automatically believing the lies that religious apologists spout.

  • @MrFungus420 Stalin and Hitler were both baptized Catholic. It's hardly fair to Catholicism to link Hitler and Stalin, in the same boat as Mother Teresa who spend her life for the poor. There are good Christians, and idiot Christians. There are respectful Athiests and, then theres this beer drinking fool who is only concerned with jumping on the band wagon because he is starved for attention.

  • @pmedic063252 I did not say that Catholicism, Christianity or religion was responsible for what Hitler did. Hitler was an evil, sick human being, that is why he did what he did.

But to say that he was an atheist is an error if not an outright lie, as it is to claim that atheism is in any way responsible for his acts.

  • @MrFungus420 no one (at least in my house) said he was an Athiest. You have to admit that many say that he was a "Christian or Catholic or whatever, in an attempt to show how hateful Christians are. There are multitudes using Christ, and distorting his words, to feed their perversions. David Koresh, a case in point, had sex with children girls. But, what Christ says is that to lead one of these little ones astray, it would be better if they had a stone around the neck, and drown.

  • @pmedic063252 I never said that.

This is what can happen when you decide to jump in on a particular comment and ignore its referent.

  • @KingHeathen Faith in God has killed NO ONE. Example, Mother Teresa. This woman spent her life doing charity for the poor. And, there are many like her. What has killed and impoverished are groups of people who USED and DISTORTED the code Christians were to follow and, used it for their gain. Yea, I know about the Witch Hunts. THAT, and THOSE are the ones Im talking about. Im not a Catholic and, consider myself open minded. You seem to be one of a very narrow mind.

  • @pmedic063252 Mother Teresa was interested in spreading suffering and collecting money to establish nunneries. Virtually none of the money that she raised went to help the poor in any way. The only thing that she did for the poor was to provide a place for them to suffer and die...often needlessly. If she would have used some of the money that she spent on recruiting nuns on medical help and medicine, she could have saved lives and eased suffering. She didn't.

  • @MrFungus420 oh wow. Thats quite a bit of education you had just given me. Please provide for me a list of these "nunneries" And, if what you say is true, then truth should be reasonable to prove. I would be happy to read and explore this proof if you provide it for me.

  • @inriver430 It IS a good thing. The human race needs to move past this plague. We are, slowly. Without people who would act against it, we can't ensure that we will one day have a world without religion. These activists provide hope.

  • @inriver430 Good thing? Name one good thing belief in a God has every done. I can think of plenty of terrible things. Legacy? If this video is his legacy, as you so naively and bizarrely assume, then his legacy will be a rational person who did not follow blindly.

  • @inriver430 "Do you really want to spend your life talking people OUT of having faith in God?" How is it that you would rather see the truth covered up, and falsehood prevail, then to face that your religion is based on falsehood? What a disgrace! How come you wouldn't want to know the truth? How come you prefer falsehood over truth? You expose yourself as loving dishonesty! The truth will lead you to the TRUE God, but you obviously don't want that God. You want the god of lies and deception!

  • @inriver430 Oh yeah... religion's helped so many people... witch-hunts, crusades... holding back true understanding of the world... creating fear of going to hell and never being pure enough to go to heaven sexual oppression... oppression of women... genital mutilation... ill reasoned moral standards

I think that should do it for now... (of course I know that these were rather primitive times and mankind knew little... why glorify those horrible times and rituals and deeds?)

  • @heartthief313 ... OK. So if I preach a sermon on loving your wife, and some #%@! takes what I said, and goes home and rapes and abuses his wife, it's my fault, right? There are always sickos that do warped things. If you want to blame God for every single cruel, stupid, manipulative thing, done by every idiot who ever had a wicked, selfish agenda, you are not thinking rationally, but emotionally. You are simply mad at God, and grinding an ax, same as King Heathen.

  • @inriver430 Did or did God not create everything there is? He/she/it is the ultimate cause of everything kindness and rape.. Therefore one can blame God... I Bet you have better moral standards than the God of the Bible. This due to sociological changes that have occurred because of increased knowledge about the well-being of humans and other animals. You would like to blame humans, but it is humans who have changed society for the better. youtube.com/watch?v=ramBFRt1Uzk

  • @heartthief313 Furthermore I don't remember blaming you if someone rapes his wife... Left on their own good people will do good things, and bad people will do bad things.. but for a good person to do a wicked thing it takes religion.

I cant be mad at God.. this would be contradict my lack of belief in it. And i wrote RELIGION. (Could it be your emotions have clouded your sight or ability to read?). Humans created God in their image. People moved on and changed God accordingly :)

  • @inriver430 TWAT IN CAPITAL LETTERS OR CANT U READ???

  • @mzklopyu Brilliant comment! Here is a question that will boggle your tiny brain for weeks: If God doesn't exist, why do atheists like Richard Dawkins & King Heathen care so passionately that some people believe in Him? Why do they waste time preparing videos for YouTube? In fact, why do atheists bother acknowledging that people believe in God at all? People believe all sorts of ridiculous things that atheists don't care about, so why does it matter if one of those things is God?

  • @inriver430 The reason I care about people who believe in "god" is because they are always trying to impose their beliefs on me. Blue laws, creationism in schools, and idiot religious politicians are all because of religion. I don't care if someone believes in a "god", but their religion should never leave the inside of their head. In other words, keep it to yourself.

  • @glennheston I partially agree with you. I believe good Christians should preach with good actions, lead by example and, let the "religion" leave their heads when that type of counsel is sought. Through the many years, with the many split off sects, with the "power struggle to prove their faith is the right one, this caused such a hideous distortion of what JC wanted them to do. If one doesn't know what his faith is about, they would do well to not preach at all.

  • @pmedic063252 You can believe in Superman, read about Superman, watch movies about Superman. None of which makes Superman any more real. But if you told people that Superman will come save the day for real some day, there are people who would believe that. They would then have faith in Superman. Would faith make Superman show up some day? No. Faith is a lie you tell to yourself until you believe it.

  • @glennheston No, not Superman. The evidence that showed the that a God exsists would be put out here except, I want to avoid the hostility and name calling that goes on on other boards. People say that there is no evidence that Jesus lived. There is actually alot of evidence. Can you walk up to his house and ask for him? No. But consider, for the threat that He posed for the surrounding governments, wouldn't it have been easier to PROVE he never exsisted in his own time and not 2000 years later?

  • @pmedic063252 Were not talking about a local rumor. Were talking a pnenomnon that was wide spread. If he didn't exsist, why didn't these governments, elders of temples, and just common citizens who may have hated him prove that he didnt exsist?People say that nothing has been written about him for 30 or so years after he died. Gallus himself even referred to the eclipse that happened at the crucifiction. People wern't stupid back then. Skeptics abounded and, in many parts, He was hated.

  • @pmedic063252 and I can go on and on and on and on. To say that this all happened by itself, merely by chance and, got it right the first time, from a simple cell, that branched out into different plants animals, flowers, makes Superman look believeable.

  • @pmedic063252 and even IF science COULD and would create life, it just proves a designer.

  • @pmedic063252 And you still can't prove a designer. Science shows how things work, not why. You are arrogant enough to say you know why things work. You believe in your "god" because you were told to believe in that "god" from the time you were born. It's called programming. You're the "god of the gaps" type. If science doesn't have the answer now, well that's "god". Yes, the odds say that the world could just happen to turn out the way it has. And it did!

  • @glennheston Oh I see. Listen, and take it from a former athiest. It actually takes more faith to believe in Darwinism and/or to be an Athiest. But I have a question for you; Do you believe that we started from this insignificant spec? If so,tell me a simple cell has over a trillion molecules. A human being has over a trillion cells, tell me exactly how these cells assembled to form different organisms that contain specific cells for the specific organs from one simple cell?

  • @pmedic063252 It's called DNA.

  • @glennheston and then tell me, the world with all of the animal and plant species, did all of these come from one simple cell? Careful, there are many different cells and, all cells are specific to its organism or plant. Did this same simple life form form plants AND humans? Was everything cut from the same rock? I can't wait to hear your wise, intelligent answer and explanation.

  • @pmedic063252 This just shows how little you understand about science.

  • @pmedic063252 The eclipse!?! Really! Are you trying to say there was an eclipse at the time jesus was crucified, and it was all because "god" made it happen at that exact time?

  • @pmedic063252 And yes, people were stupid back then. They believed evil spirits made them sick. They believed the world was flat. They believed the Earth was the center of the universe.

  • Comment removed

  • @glennheston I am not trying to be a smartass. It's just no one can explain, with even relative certainty how the masses of complexity of earth, space etc. how it all came into being with such order. We couldn't have come from the same simple life as a tree or chicken. And, to assemble a trillion cells (thats how many in the average human) and each cell having a trillion molecules in just the right order for things to work.

  • @pmedic063252 No, you're not being a smartass. You're being a dumbass trying to say you know something that no one else in the world knows. That being that you know not only that there is a "god", but what he thinks too. Just because you have absolutely no understanding of science what so ever, you think that no one else could possibly understand it either. Here's something you don't know, not all people are the same when it comes to intelligence. Some understand science, some (like you) don't.

  • @glennheston ok, this conversation is over. I gave you respect. I listened to your propositions but, like the majority of Athiests, you resort to insults, and name calling. Now, go ahead and toss your insults. I was gracious enough to consider what you were saying and, only asked respect. You couldn't even do that. BTW, I do have a Biology degree.

  • Comment removed

  • @pmedic063252 So, why didn't they show back then, when it would have been so much easier to disprove him, that he doesn't exsist. Despite what some say today, 2000 years later, there is alot of evidence. But today people just theorize and say well, ity's not true and hoards follow them. Now today with this Abiogenisis folly, it has failed so far. It hasn't produced one living cell. And, all of the intelligence that makes the body work, even the solar system. You don't see planets crashing into

  • @pmedic063252 each other. Everything follows an order based on established laws. Even one cell has a trillion molecules. To say that things work because all of these building blocks were put together at just the right amount, just the right time and temperature where dogs and humans can only reproduce with their respective organism. Or, like a machine, a body will shiver to generate heat, sweat to cool, have a temperature to kill organisms that invade the body, that blood contains a clotting

  • @pmedic063252 factor, and THE BRAIN! Man, scientists marvel at what it could do. And not only our brain but, a dog, cat, fish, rat, birds brain that functions in respect to its own respective organism. You can look out at the ocean and, the water looks eye level but, it doesn't wash over you. And, if you cant see it, you can squint, thus bending your lense in your eye to focusYou can give me all of the scientific reasons why it doesn't but, SCIENCE DIDNT INVENT it; it only gave it a name.

  • @pmedic063252 I won't dispute that Jesus lived, he might have. If he did exist, I see him not different than Jerry Falwell. He was just another evangelistic.

  • @glennheston trust me, I was where you were. No bolt of lightning struck me. I had no big religious experience. But, I am in the medical field and, I too studied the biology's and chemistry's, anatomy's physiology's. And in short, there is no way in Haites this ALL assembled itself just by a bang.

  • @pmedic063252 Well! We should be so glad we have you to show us the error of 200 years of science. What other quantum leaps of mental superiority do you have to give to us lowly non believers. You were a medic and that gives you the right to determine what is real, and what isn't?

  • @pmedic063252 And no, you have never been like me. I have never had any faith in any "god". Not because I was raised to be anti theist, but because my family never thought it was worth talking about. We ignored religion. Science solves problems every day that religion can't even come close to solving. How many times has the church gone up against science and lost? Many times. You bring all your evidence for your "god", and put it up against science's explanations and we'll see who wins. Evidence

  • @DominatingNA you said, " Just let bygones be bygones." NO!! If christians keep "pushing" their beliefs onto nonbelievers and "threaten them with eternal punishment if we don't convert to their cult, then why should we let bygones be bygones. In addition, it's christians that want to get into the position of president and push their political agenda. Educate yourself in this area and shed your ignorance.

  • @99minerkc Someone's upset.

Perhaps I should rephrase what I said. What I was trying to say is that atheists shouldn't bother Christians and Christians shouldn't bother atheists. Just leave the other group alone is all I'm saying.

  • @DominatingNA That cannot happen, why you may wonder? Simple, Jesus' great co-mission where he says to spread "the good news" to "all" of the world. Although I AM NO(and proud of it)longer a christian I know for a fact that evangelical pastors currently are teaching their flock how to spread their BS to non-believers. That is why peace between atheists, agnostics, etc and christians will never take place.

  • @99minerkc Only radical Christians do this. I am a Christian, but I certainly don't press my beliefs on others.

I wish everyone would do the same, but the fact is that fighting Christianity is useless, because peace won't ever occur until every last Christian has converted to atheism, which seems to be (at this point in time) impossible.

  • @DominatingNA So atheists should just do nothing and be prosecuted? If you are an atheist you are the least likely person to get elected president of the US. Now what does that say about believers? We are viewed as la lesser human and untrustworthy. isn't this something that should be fought against? Even if these beliefs about us are only held privately they still have an effect in the voting booth.

  • @99minerkc I for one would never try to convert an Athiest. But, if Christianity is going to be knocked, then be factual. Example, on another board a young girl said, "why worship a god that says to stone your kids for talking back". That line doesn't exsist. Or, because Hitler was baptized Catholic, makes all of Christianity bad. Look up Mother Teresa or, Maximillan Colby. THAT is the conduct JC wants Christians to live by. Facts, not anger statements please.

  • @DominatingNA OK...fair statement...but when they don't return the favor...then what?

  • @KingHeathen I'm not saying I agree with radical Christians who try to push their beliefs onto everyone. I'm not sure how much of a Christian I am anymore, but even when I firmly declared myself as one, I didn't really push my beliefs onto people.

I'm perfectly fine with your use of this information against radical Christians, but it's hypocritical to push it upon all Christians with a false justification that all Christians push it on you.

  • @DominatingNA The fact is that even "moderate" christians are hypocrites. They mostly know nothing of the bible and keep believing in a "god" for the most irrational reasons. I've met a lot of moderates they're not the bashers but they can never seem to understand what the bible truly advocates. They're hypocrites nothing more. Irrational in the fact that they're weak and look for comfort following sweet lies, that is all.

  • @KingHeathen "when they don't return the favor...then what?"

Then you've gained the moral high ground, a huge advantage. This is one of the very few truly profound messages in the bible. Romans 12:20 "If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head"

"to befriend the one who regards himself as your enemy is the quintessence of true religion" - Gandhi

Acting hostile to religion just makes one look like a bigot

  • @DominatingNA I would agree with you if these idiots weren't using an imaginary diety to determine who runs our country and what issues to support.

  • @DominatingNA Look back when Christians had it ALL there own way. It IS a kind of battle. Between logic and reason against gullibility and wishful thinking. When the parties of God are in charge of a nuclear Israel and Iran then there is a clear and present danger to the world never mind you. When fundamentalists put Presidents into the White house, pray for Armageddon and the second coming of Christ and try hard to get creation taught in science classes then let's not let bygones be bygones.

  • The guy in the video acts as if an atheist reading the Bible could even make sense of it. When God led the Israelite out of Egypt, that which was light for the Jews was made DARKNESS (confusion) to their enemies. Nothing has changed. Jesus was asked WHY He spoke in riddles and Jesus answered that it is because it is NOT for them (nonbelievers) to know/understand the things of God. God HIDES His Truth from His enemies.

  • Jesus said that NO man comes to Him unless he is drawn by God. God resists the proud and gives grace (unmerited favor) to the humble. Only those who are "of the Truth" will know the Truth. Those who choose darkness remain condemned. The Bible teaches that God has intentionally made His way hidden to the proud by turning their intellect through a loop; that God has chosen "the foolishness of preaching" to save the humble. God has NO intellectual equal, and He WON'T tolerate pseudo-smarties-pants!

  • @Mr88playmaker So, all evidence that the Bible is hokum is proof that it's not? Fallacy. If you were born in Saudi Arabia, you'd defend Islam by the same logic you'd defend Christianity by if you were born in Texas, etc etc.

  • @Zythe (QUOTE) "If you were born in Saudi Arabia, you'd defend Islam by the same logic you'd defend Christianity by if you were born in Texas, etc etc." (END QUOTE)

Your observation is not new or especially enlightened. Generally speaking, what you're saying is the common & universal observation held by all people throughout all the world including Christian and Muslims, Jews, atheist etc.. Arabs growing up in Arab counties are taught the Quron and most people in Texas are taught the Bible.

  • @Mr88playmaker The simple fact I was making is you believe your highly-specific form of theism simply because of where you were born and the situation in which you were raised. You feel a conviction that you are right despite the fact that in had the accident of geography behind your birth varied slightly, you'd reach a a contradictory theological position using the same false logic with equal conviction.

  • @Zythe (QUOTE) "The simple fact I was making is you believe your highly-specific form of theism simply because of where you were born and the situation in which you were raised." (END QUOTE)

What you're saying is not new. You are simply paraphrasing the teachings of Christ and of the Bible. Whom do you suppose God will be more gracious toward? A Muslim who grew up having never heard the Gospel or an Atheists on the other side of the world who heard the Gospel, hated it and rejected it?

  • @Zythe (QUOTE)" You feel a conviction that you are right despite the fact that in had the accident of geography behind your birth ..."(END QUOTE)

Actually, I'm thankful I was born in America for the reasons you have stated. The great commission is to take the Gospel to every nation and every people on earth. You and I have heard the gospel. People in China and throughout the Arab are hearing the gospel. As per End Times prophesy, many Muslims who never heard the Gospel are meeting Christ.

  • @Zythe

Christianity began in Israel and quickly spread out across the Arab world. Christianity was the religion of Arabs for approximately five centuries before Muhamad came to the people telling to stop believing in Christ and begin believing in a NEW book -- the Quron. The Gospel of Christ is not a American religion. Most Arabs (the non-idolator ones) were Christian; and this was thousands of years before even the discovery of this modern nation we call America.

  • @Mr88playmaker First off, the idea that the Bible can't be understood by a non-believer is asinine. Second, if God is hiding from his enemies then what the hell are you trying to accomplish?

  • @Mr88playmaker you said, "When God led the Israelite out of Egypt, that which was light for the Jews was made DARKNESS (confusion) to their enemies." Jewish archaeologists recently admitted that the Exodus never occurred. If you don't believe me, research it for yourself. That being said, NO god led jews out of Egypt.

  • @Mr88playmaker The guy posting this comment acts as if a CHRISTIAN that found this information and couldn't find a logical explanation for it which caused him to question his own beliefs was NOT the only MAKING sense of it verses the guy that just believes what his preacher tells him..

If God "loves" me, why would I be his "enemy?" Wouldn't he instead show me the error of my ways? It's REALLY petty to keep people in the dark when you have the ability to help them.

  • @Mr88playmaker That's just shi**y marketing... if you want people to believe your message you have to make it understandable... If there was a bomb in your house and only I had the code and willingness to help you deactivate it but spoke only Chinese... That wouldn't help you and your family... God created his enemies and seems to be a bit afraid of them.. Maybe he doesn't love all his children to help them get enlightened. Why worship such cruelty?

  • @Mr88playmaker That doesn't even make sense...

I was a Christian all my life until about two days ago, when I decided that it would be idiotic for me to continue as a believer of god after being exposed to all the contradictions of the bible and with reality in general.

I've been an atheist for two days... but I don't feel as if some "Truth" has been taken from me now that I'm a non believer. That argument is just ridiculous.

  • You throw in a lot of suppositions of your own. John was a contemporary of Jesus, not a hundred years or so later as you offered. If either Matthew or Mark are off on a particular date or name it does not prove either on of them is "lying." Two writers, two variations on the same theme. On the essentials they agree.

  • @Antlers68 What do you base these assertions on? And the issue isn't with Matthew and Mark...LUKE says 6CE or later. Matthew says 4BCE or EARLIER...10 year gap. Big problem to the "The Bible is the 100% inerrant word of God person...

If that isn't you, then this video isn't directed at you.

  • God watches you piss.

  • So frustated following a star in spirals ,Magi asked nearest King. Matt 2v2-12. Magi: "Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews?" Herod the Great:"I have no new baby sons, What can you be thinking of? Wait! A thought has just been placed in my head, could this be The Christ? Advisors, do you know anything of The Christ?" Advisors: "Would that be Jesus Christ of Nazareth who was crucified under the rule of your son Herod Antipas, 34 years after you died?" Herod: "Yes, that very one",

  • Advisors:" Follow the road to Bethlehem, there you will find him, just round the bend, at '3 Christ was born here St.' in the stable of 'Time for a quickie? Inn'. Herod to Magi;"Did you hear that? Now when you find Christ, return at once & tell me where he is, that I may do something that vaguely fits with a random verse of Septuagint".So off they set, fortunately there were cats eyes to follow as the star mentioned on the plans was bust &they'd forgotten to note which constellation it was in.

  • This is the best contradiction? Nice pseudo-intellectualism. Not only do you come off as pompous, but you worked a nice amount of ignorance in there too. Cool story, Bro!

  • No man best contradiction is the logical contradiction on the description of God. That and the impossibility of an infinite entity existing and not existing at the same time.Jesus could have existed as a man but a God cannot exist as a man and be a God at the same time. You cannot be immortal and mortal. Christians say when somebody dies they become immortal hence their soul. How would Jesus have been any different then? Flesh and bone is not immortal. He was no different than you or me

  • I've got a question! How did God make the world in 7 days when the concept of a day didn't exist and day length differs on other planets?

  • @MrDizzySpinda Not just other planets time is relative to where you are period and before Earth existed time as we know it could not have existed. The Earth itself causes time to pass the way it does. Matter distorts time and space.

  • @Luigi84289 I think I read something like that about how your feet age faster than your head does.

  • Fiftly, you again have nothing but conjecture from the Jesus Seminar. Sixthly, you're talking about the Sicarii rebellion, which was as much against Christians as it was against the Romans. Seventh, ask any scholar: Mark is the same John Mark mentioned in Acts. There are over 500 unnamed disciples, not to mention the thousands who were with Jesus from the beginning. False, baseless conjecture makes for poor education, but an excellent way to control unsuspecting rubes.

  • Just to point this out: Firstly, there were three kings named Herod, one of whom ruled during the time of Jesus' birth. Secondly, Matthew 2:23. Thirdly, all you have is conjecture, with absolutely no evidence to support your claim. If you set a standard, why can't you adhere to that standard in the same context? Fourthly, in the question of David vs. Joseph's grandfather, "Which of these people lived in Bethlehem?" In your video, you admitted it was david.

  • @dameon692002 Read the description box...I explain that we KNOW which Herod Matthew is talking about. After that, nothing you said matters

  • @KingHeathen Pithy, vague response that means nothing. You have no argument, other than propaganda. Good luck finding sheeple to follow you. If you can't address the facts, and you're adamant about making up baseless accusations, people will eventually see through this comedy channel for what it really is: a sad attempt at trolling. We do know which Herod it is, of the four Herods who lived during the last century BC and the first century AD; and it certainly wasn't Antipas or Herod II.

  • the thing with heorid makes NO sense. jesus was newly-born. do you think he would have been so paranoid at people saying a "saviour" is born? the only ones who knew this at the time was mary and joe. who else was talking about that at the time and why did heroid take it to heart?! it could have been hearsay to scare him

  • @infernalone666 I agree it's odd...but that is what the story claims...unsubstantiated as it may be.

  • The BIBLE is a complete Contradiction.. It's based on Catholic beliefes.. WHER are the "Sea Scrolls? Where's the Real Truth.. Thanks Vadican for trying to MIND FUCK everyone..

  • im an atheist, i disagree with religion completely, but this is boooooooooooooooorrrrrrrrring

  • i think its crazy how alot of atheists know the

bible better than the people who follow it:)

  • Im Atheist, but also a Historian and there is a flaw.

"in the year 6C.E. Rome gets control over Judea"

Rome had that entire region for a long time before that. Cleopatra meets Mark Antony there because he is given governorship of that area as part of the 2nd Triumvirate

  • @whiteowl1415 excellent point, however, there is an important clarification made here that Roman didn't OFFICIALLY "take control" and appoint a ruler till then...THAT is when Cirinius/Quirinius was appointed as governor and why it was important for Luke to point it out. Biblical scholars, Christian, atheist, agnostic, etc., all accept this issue. It's not news to any of them.

  • @KingHeathen

True, they allowed local leadership under Roman supervision, not unlike Alexander or Cyrus

  • This is how the Brit chadasha reads. That's the Orthodox Jewish New Testament. Taken from Hebrew. Big surprise the New Testament was written in Hebrew before Greek. Here is Luke 2 And it came about at

that time that a dvar malchut (decree) was sent out from Caesar Augustus to register everyone in the entire Roman Empire. |2| This mifkad (census) was before that taken while Quirinius was governor in

Syria. |3| And everyone was traveling to register, each to his own shtetl.

  • This guy has nothing to give, why is he on utube?

  • @GTCism Because he's using logic and reasoning about a subject that contains neither.

  • @GTCism your mom asked me to be.

Way to ignore every point made in the video!

  • You are trying to convince yourself, not us.

  • he 's a closet christian, this subject is important to him

  • @KingHeathen

the concept of the bible being made in the year 70 to get back at the Romans for invading as per their lifestyle was also believed by the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche

    perhaps, perhaps?

  • Religion is fucking retarded, illogical, and makes grown men think delusional thoughts like the easter bunny creating the universe among other things. Out with it, I say.

  • Everyone is wasting their Sundays at Church. Save your Sundays for a holiday and just be free from stupid christian headaches! All Christians are loosers in my eyes as they are so insecure and needy.

  • WOW! I am amazed at the ignorance presented by this guy. Is this really all you have to say to dispute the Word of God with? Safe to say, Theists = 1 and those other "so called" atheists = 0. In the words of one of your very own, CHECK MATE ATHEISTS!

  • Oh no! Maybe the Muslims were right all along and there were two Jesus', the one they claim took Jesus' place and died on the cross and the other one that got away. Thanks KingHeathen for synchronizing biblical and koranic texts and bringing religions closer together.

  • what a goober!

  • Where is your evidence? I haven't seen you present any. You have responded to some comments with present this evidence, when you present none of your own. You only talk of discovering a contradiction and proceed to assert that the Bible is a bunch of lies, or at least Matthew and Luke are lies. I see you haven't answered 888WolfDog888's comment. ????

  • The stupidity of this argument is that the exact date of Christs birth is not known by anyone alive today. So making this most unintelligent argument is one of the biggest strawmen I have ever seen! To take the year zero as the actual birth year of Christ shows a large amount of willful ignorance by a supposed scholar type!

  • @888WulfDog888 That's because you didn't pay attention. The argument WAS NOT that Jesus was born in the year "zero" which doesn't exist...It was that there is a TEN YEAR GAP between the two dates proclaimed by Matthew and Luke.

  • @KingHeathen But how can you quantify that there is a TEN YEAR GAP between the two if you cannot even inform us of what calender you are using when you make statements like " Herod died in the year 4 bc" You then contradict your video here by saying something stupid like ""zero" which doesn't exist" If you actually to some study into when the modern calender was instigated you will find no doubt to your horror that it was centuries after Herod and Jesus and it started with a guess

  • One small question for you there chief ? who's calendar are we using today and how is it accurate to the death of Herod and the Birth of Jesus ? I'm assuming you have done your homework on this one.

  • You know, you're a very intelligent man. If you look for loopholes, you will find them. If you look for Christ, you will find him. Strictly hypothetical challenge here. You and I set aside 90 days of our existence. I will try for 90 days to not believe in Christ and you try for 90 days to believe in him. You will win, and win BIG. This existence has lots of unanswered questions. Christ laid out the path to all the answers we would really need. Are there loopholes? If you look for them. How do y

  • There is no lying in the holy Bible. . It is your confusion and delusion.

  • How do you know exactly when Jesus was supposed to be born anyway? Could he not have simply been born around 6 C.E.? I think it's more likely that we have Herod's death date, Christ's birth, and/or the Roman "census" dates wrong. Also, who's to say that the Romans didn't commit infanticide more than once? The main point I'm driving at is that with stuff that old, it's hard to reliably pinpoint a date, and you have to keep in mind that early Christians are giving us the info.

  • Comment removed

  • I'm not making a statement about the Early Christians, just saying that you have to trust that they wouldn't have written about something unless what they saw astounded them. There's going to be some human error. Think about it - the apostles spend their lives after Jesus' death preaching the Word, and those close to them decide to record the stories from the lives of those who have been touched by this blessed man's (Jesus') amazing life, death and rebirth.

  • BOOOORRRIIINGGG!!!! sorry but you bored me to death, I lasted until 1:20 and had to start this comment.

  • @KingHeathen

I think that most of us form our opinion of what God is like based on our relationship with our own earthly father. That's unfortunate, because a lot of us did not have good fathers when we were growing up. But, God is not like that. The bible (especially the old testament) describes God's nature. It says that He is jealous of His relationship with us. It says that he is always planning ways to bring us back to Him. God desires intimacy with us and He wants us to be saved.

  • you are so proud. don't try to disprove the Bible, it's impossible. God has all the answers. You will be thrown into unless you ask the Lord into your heart. It's God perfect word. You sound like an extremely intelligent person. Why don't you apply your knowledge and time into something that's actually helping the world? This video really does nothing. I believe every single word in the Bible, because i know without a doubt it's true. We'll all be judged. I pray to God you are ready, and saved.

  • @ikerocky98 haha brainwashed fuck

  • @ikerocky98 We can't disprove it of course, just like we have never disproved fairies, dragons, or any mythical creature of that sort. But people cannot prove God, apparently 2000 years isn't enough. All you have is people believing a book written in the Bronze Age that has been rewritten and translated hundreds of times, with numerous contradictions, atrocities caused by your "loving" God, talking snakes, rib women, defied physics, and a lot of other nonsense.

  • To learn the real truth go to 4shared.com and search for the word Jmmanuel and look there for a file with 9,873 KB | 2009-12-08 | File name: The-Real-New-Testament-The-Talmud-of-Jmmanuel-Person-Known-Nowadays-as-Jesus-Forgery-in-Christianity.pdf

  • The Bible as we know it, is the result of Chinese whispers, and crowd control.

  • @HENJAM48 thank you, summed my view perfectly

  • your buzzing audio gives me the shits. fix the earth..
