if you use a galaxy 99 with high swr, 2.5 -3, but keep power low, is that still bad for radio?

@bluehappyscrap you need too check it with modulation is it going up when you talk past 3??? a lot of people check there swr by dead key thats not accurate because when you talk swr goes up or down, so talk into your mic say ahhhhhhhhh set swr then check it, if its going over 3 its bad you will blow them finals that is hard too find, my suggestion is too get it where its at least going down too 1.5 when you talk

I love this radio. Still like my Cobra148 but this kicks it in the teeth lol. You can catch it on by tube searching this "COBRA 148 GTL WITH CHANNELS" leave out the quotations. It will be the first video option. Yep, someone would have to gimme their ranch for this lol.

I OWN one more but that one i am keeping paid way too much for it when it was new im the only owner of it and was around $ 550.00 all set up out the door and that was 5 yrs ago or so ill keep my ears open i know like 2 locals in my area that have one also 7'333's
