Been watching a lot of these videos lately. Im not into fox hunting but Ive got to say if someone stuck a camera in my face theyd lose it. Ive noticed a lot of sabs have their faces covered why is this? Do yo sabs not have lives to lead?

I think there are sabs that are doing this because they want to save foxes but I wonder if the ones with there faces covered are just there for the fun of it.

@Richy0407 What I mean when I say some of them are there for fun is that some people enjoy conflict thats a fact. Trespass is no big deal so I seriously doubt theyre covering their faces for that reason. The hunters arent killing anyone either. They do kill foxes though which Im not happy about. @Richy0407 The sabs are approaching the hunters so no I dont think the hunters are there for conflict. I think Trespass is a civil matter rather than criminal so you would be unlikely to be arrested for it. Ive always wandered where I like in the countryside and never been arrested.
@dogferret1 yes it is a civil matter but people caught continually doing it and have maybe refused to leave have been arrested and you have not been arrested because you have no bothered the owners or at the time they did not mind you being there but sabs need to trespass at time to try stop the hunts...and i did not say you should try and tackle them all but you can at least try and do a little something instead of sticking up for the people who are doing something wrong...

@Richy0407 Ive not seen many of the hunters hiding their faces. I know people who wont put fieldsports like shooting or ferreting on a cv under hobbys because some people have a problem with it so I dont think its much of a stretch that a fox hunter would want to keep his face off of youtube. Most of the vids Ive seen the sabs are holding the camera and you still see more sabs covering their faces than hunters.
@dogferret1 i did sabing a couple of times but as you know its not poor people that do fox hunting and became apparent very quick that the cops are bent round the hunters little finger...and don't you think there is a good reason most people don't agree with fox hunting? people normally only cover there face if they have something to hide and that goes for sabs and hunters and look around a little more you will find hunters doing it to and your employer is hardly going to look on youtube for you
@Richy0407 I dont neccesarily mean just employment. A lot of people get flack for any form of hunting so maybe that could be enough to not want to be filmed. The overwhelming majority of people covering their faces in the vids Ive seen are sabs.
From what Ive learned over the past couple of days the hunters do this under the pretense of trail hunting and if they do catch they can claim it was an accident and get away with it so maybe the polices hands are tied by the law.

I am pro hunting. Laws are made in London and rarely consider the country side. Townies and city people are the majority of the anti hunters. It's ignorance towards the country side and their resentment towards the middle classes. (A lot of working class people hunt, and work very hard to do so.) How ever the women on the horse should have just sat with the other riders. bad move but I know why she got frustrated, I've been the victim of a smilier but MUCH worse incident involving anti hunters.

This film just came up and I was surprised at this rude old woman obviously rubbing the riders up the wrong way. She came across as an obvious trouble maker. Umm I do believe filming people who have clearly expressed they do not want to be, is illegal and i think you'll find fields are generally owned by a farmer who has given permission for people hunt on their PRIVATE property and if there is a footpath though it then you need permission of the council as its not a 'Street'. Oh dear

Videoing Minors without permission is illegal. I am 17 years old and go hunting on a regular basis. 'Anti' hunt protesters have filmed me out hunting and i have reported them to the police for doing so. They have been chargged and i belive filming anyone without there consent what ever they are doing is horrible and vile! You anti's should be ashamed of yourselfs.
The police should have cautioned you for wasting their time, but they were probably too busy. Unfortunately they are powerless to stop people filming others who ask not to be filmed. I know people who wont put fieldsports like shooting or ferreting on a cv under hobbys because some people have a problem with it so I dont think its much of a stretch that a fox hunter would want to keep his face off of youtube. Most of the vids Ive seen the sabs are holding the camera and you still see more sabs covering their faces than hunters.

From what Ive learned over the past couple of days the hunters do this under the pretense of trail hunting and if they do catch they can claim it was an accident and get away with it so maybe the polices hands are tied by the law.

I am pro hunting. Laws are made in London and rarely consider the country side. Townies and city people are the majority of the anti hunters. It's ignorance towards the country side and their resentment towards the middle classes. (A lot of working class people hunt, and work very hard to do so.) How ever the women on the horse should have just sat with the other riders. bad move but I know why she got frustrated, I've been the victim of a smilier but MUCH worse incident involving anti hunters.

Umm I do believe filming people who have clearly expressed they do not want to be, is illegal and i think you'll find fields are generally owned by a farmer who has given permission for people hunt on their PRIVATE property and if there is a footpath though it then you need permission of the council as its not a 'Street'.
