Yeah...

I am using that thing to this day,

it's a very useful Guitar for me.

I am quite used to it and it is my 2nd guitar,

so it doesn't exactly matter if it gets damaged.

it's mainly the Guitars Pickups which gives this a crap sound xD

It's not necessarily about the gear, but the playing method you use which is half the sound - actualy playing it right (Which I didn't get 100% xD).

Glad you like it though, I consider my Rig as fairly average... but hey ;)

Actually, the gear is pretty much 100 percent of the sound. Technique definitely shapes the style but has nothing to do with tone and overall sound.

That being said, great lead around 1:25

I hate Fender but its not a horrible sound and you play it pretty well.

You have this rabbit hop thing going on, hope you don't do that on stage ;)

Had a hard time recovering around 3:30 eh? haha, happens.

Nice playing, I've been learning a few AE songs but there's only so much I can play. I need to learn techniques and pick up speed, you know any good tips?

Btw do you play by ear or tabs?

Ahh cheers dude,

Well a few main ones which got me going were:

check how you sit/stand with the guitar, check your rigth arm is resting nicely so that the strength required to fret is less,

try some thicker lectra if you haven't already (0.7/8mm min 1.5mm max in my opinion).

sometimes learning some basic scales and practicing them can help your co-ordination.

as for other tools - I use Winamp + Roni Slow Me Down to slow tracks down with no loss of tone/pitch.

P.S.: did you learn to play by yourself? I've been playing for like.. a year or so, but only lame acoustics on the electric guitar i bought, I just can't reach high speeds. Maybe you could give me some tips or something(other than "practice practice practice" xD)?

I've been playing guitar for 5/6 years.

I've been having lessons for about 3/4 years.

To be honest alot of it is down to picking method and fretting method - all techniquie really.

There are many tips, I found using a thicker plectum helps (0.7mm min. 1.5 max I'd say)

lower the action (distance from strings to frets).

there is alot of stuff that might help.
