when mexicanos still had their pride and didnt sell

out for no materialistic bullshit the US threw at us

Me duele ver mi gente ser esclavos de los gueros y sufrir.

But still VIva Todo Mexico y viva toda la gente chicana.

  • this is it . Tell your kids no mo rap. Puro Tejano . Chicano, whatever u wanna call it today . No Hispanic . that is a brand name . Dj Texasdude

  • @xxacriddxx I can get you a copy of the music on a CD if that is what you need. The actual record album is expensive and hard to get. Tell your dad that Chente Montez and Rudy Palacios wish him well.

  • LA, CA. So since when did you become such an expert on Mexican American, Or Chicano what ever you call yourself, Many folks changed there names just to get a Contract,I was 1 of them folks, but I refused to change my name,we still made it Big time,So where are YOU FROM stop turning a blind eye to all us Mexicans Or Chicano whatever U call yourself, We were denied many opportunities,Because of our brown skin,You need to RESPECT Ur Elders, Or is that something U no nothing about,Show some class.

  • @gangs2grace , True Statements , our forbearer were victims , Thanks to the Creator and many Souls who did fight the battle for equal rights . All races worldwide have experience this , The Irish , Germans , Scots , Afro- Americans , Vietnamese , Chinese and the other bloodlines . A white man told me last night that he taught his children to love others as themselves . I have a greater respect for this man . A friend of humans .

  • @gangs2grace

Maybe it's also an issue of English now(as opposed to decades ago), and the way many "Chicanos" speak it. Many of my full-blooded Mexican relatives are white, even blonde. Mexicans are more than just "brown."

  • jpm, and didn't Joe Bravo take over after those few rolas they did on their own after Sunny left?

  • Thank you for posting this. It's one of my favorite Sunglows songs.

  • These guys were & still are some of the best Musicans out there some are dead, We were not played on the Radio because we are Brown.

  • What do you mean WE were not played because we were Brown? Where are you from?

  • WONDERFUL SONG

  • Tell me, did this group also record "Mi ultima Parranda"?

    without Sunny Ozuna?

  • la ultima parranda pego muchisimo aca en EEUU con La Comparsa Universitaria de la Laguna de Torreòn, Coah. Mèx. aunque la original fue de Rudy Tee Gonzales pero està 1000 veces mejor la de la Comparsa.

  • See that fella in the back to the right holding the bass. He did alot to turn music

in that direction it went in the 70's. And

I owe my respect to the gent in the back center who did most of the recordings for the

    group.

  • If in El Chuco All That Music will probably carry it. If they don't have it they will try to get it for you.

  • can somebody out there please help get this song? this is my jefitas favorite and i haven't been able to get it for her.

  • OMG!!! the picture of the 45 that you posted is the record that my mom has...this song is just one of the many songs that she had from her youth...it really brings tears to my eyes when I hear these songs becuase when she would put these songs on we were just small kids...my mom was in her late 20's early 30's we use to hate when she would put them on...now I hear them and I know the words to all of them. Now mom is in her 60's and I just wish she was still young like she use to be.

  • I can relate to that. Those were the days, that was Music, plain and simple.Easy to listen to and the discription of life.

  • Trying to find this one a cd or a 45, where could i look. My father is a big fan.

  • If in El Chuco All That Music would have it. If not they will try to get it for you.
