My goodness...that is so sweet! I don't know if it's happened for you or not, but I really hope a young girl like you finds a special young man who will play this beautiful song for you. I'm saving this song for a special girl in my life. I don't know who she is yet but when the time comes, this song is just for her. I feel for you my young friend :)
Last Friday I went out with my friends and I meet a guy, after dancing most of the night away he walked me to my dorm and while we walked we shared common interests. We found out that we like to sing, I'm the shy "shower" singer and he's out there. He asked me to sing and I responded "you sing to me." He sang this song to me, and all the way he was looking at me, I could feel the heat unlder my skin as I blushed. Sadly, today I found out that he's taken, but that memory will never fade away.<3
I never expect this old generation like Nat King Cole of excellent style can touch many people's heart and soul. To my LOVE who is almost far away I hope this song may reach you because it carries a message of humility, truth and love.
I never put perfect to any singer. But Nat king Cole used his voice only and could touch your sole, so to me perfect still isnt enough to describe this great mans Voice. Being in the music business some time ago. I know what people do nowadays to make themselves sound good. Nat King Cole was a pure gift from heaven. A natural sound no gimmicks. What we once had is now gone. so sad!!!!!!
No doubt others have done well; but surely no one else can deliver it in such a noble and stately style like Nat could. If you don't believe me, just look at the numbers!!!
Love his voice. What a terrible loss that he passed so young, and leaving young Natalie without her father. She is amazing in her talent and inspires many people when she sings.
@GaddafiIsAGreatMan Something else is Malcom X is inspirational and wise and I have a copy of his "The Ballot or the Bullet" speach and it is still refreshing and true. If you want to make change, find a positive forward motion and go with it. Walk the talk. So spend your money supporting the business that is run by a local man who puts money bak into your community. Work toward a finer future for the people and the people will work with you.
@GaddafiIsAGreatMan My mother was a huge fan of Muhammad Ali I can't think where you got your ideas from. Open yourself to the joy of connection. Mr. Ali would want that for you. He is a great man and he carried a message of honesty truth justice and love. Let us not paint people by the colour of their skin you would be harming yourself as well as others. I can't even begin to tell you how much respect I have for so many fredom fighters who downed tools and went to contribute and die for freedom
@GaddafiIsAGreatMan Perhaps you're thinking of a previous generation. My generation of old white people came of age in the 60's and we were Ali's strongest fans. My generation of white college students (not me, but others in my generation) went to the south to fight for civil rights and some of them died there. So take your racist claptrap elsewhere. And by the way, Gaddafi is a murderous bastard.
..of all the version of this song, to me the ones sung by Nat King Cole is still and will always be the best... it's just nobody sings like he does <3
There could be more music like this, but not people like him and those who listened to his music, gentle and loving ones, today the world is about violence and nastiness, screams and cussin', nudity and depravity, sorry if I sound negative but I think todays facts tell that I am right!
it upsets me that singers like this shall only truly live in that time. I'm sure today there are many people who could sing this song and pull at our heartstrings in a similar way but they just aren't being given the chance in todays 'pop' culture where technology, image and being shocking is more important than the voices themselves

I started listening to Nat when I was just a young boy, fascinated by his unique and crisp voice, and I still do... Until now no one ever sang like he did... by joshuakunzechannel
Actually, folks, Quincy Jones was the arranger of Frank Sinatra's version of "Fly Me To The Moon". Contrary to what I've heard Michael Buble and others say, it was not Nelson Riddle. The Count Basie Big Band were the musicians for that session.
