  • where is this? rabbit showmanship in canada is WAY different.

  • @themakersoffun This is for Nebraska 4-H youth.

  • I'm in 4H but, we do showmanship a lot different from this there is a lot more involved into this . Oh and her rabbit has sore hocks.

  • you can tell she has sore hocks.

  • I can't believe she didn't get bit checking the teeth like that!

  • @SusieBunny It is important to be able to check your rabbit's teeth. You want to start soon after getting your rabbit and practice often. Rabbits teeth grow continuously so they are at a high risk for dental problems. Being able to easily, check your rabbit's teeth will help to detect any health issues early.

  • i am a fellow 4-h member and i just got a rabbit and it will noy let me play with her what do i do?

  • She is so adorable and seems to know what she's doing! I am 13 years old and i have a mini rex.I feed her half a cup of nutriphrase food and one third of a banana a week to help with intestinal track is this ok?

  • @Myminirexisthumper i am currently switching my bunny off of nutriphase gold right now because the extra colourful pieces are bad for them and make them fat. You want to feed them just PLAIN pellets. Nothing added in.

  • wow. your really good. im 13 and i also show rabbits. i have a senior buck its a blue polish.

  • thank you for the quick reply

all your videos are so instructional

    im subing

  • what is matter in there eye?

  • Probably rather than matter a better word would be eye discharge. This would be tears or mucous from the eye. You want to make sure that the eyes of the rabbit are clear and free of any discharge as it could be a sign of disease or a respiratory infection.

  • what is showmanship about? and why do you say it's used for its fur, you don't actually sell it for its fur do you? and why do you do these showmanships of rabbits? first time hearing about it.

  • The mini rex breed of rabbits has a very unique fur type. The rex type of fur is caused by a gene mutation that results in very plush, thick, velvety fur. Mini rex rabbits are judged on their fur appearance and quality. Rex rabbits (the larger rabbit the mini-rex is derived from were used for fur), but the mini-rex is a smaller version and is kept primarily as a pet breed of rabbit.

  • @1cIassicmovies1 showmanship helps u learn and understand more about rabiits. fur is a class mostly judged on their fur like angoras, satins, and this rabbit

  • @1cIassicmovies1 showmanship helps u learn and understand more about rabiits. fur is a class mostly judged on their fur like angoras, satins. mini rex r rabbits with velvet fur and their a fancy rabbit, too not commercial

  • Thank you, I am in a master showmanship contest and I didn't know how to show a rabbit. This was very helpful.

  • THANK YOU!!! ive been in 4-H for 9 years and ive been trying to find the right way to teach my siblings how to show..and i found it!!

  • Thanks! i might get a bunny!

  • i got a vouple of questions did you say that you feed her something called shader's mix and fur food foo and if so where can i find that? also i understand you need to mover her around to present her profiles and front and the belly but do you got to hold her in those ways, because i think it looks a little torturous for the rabbit.

  • There are a variety of different rabbit foods available at your local farm store or pet store. Your rabbit should be fed a complete pelleted diet and grass hay to be healthy.

The handling of the rabbit is essential for proper showmanship. The rabbit must be handled in a way that supports its body to prevent injury. The way the rabbit is handled in this video prevents it from being hurt. The rabbit is worked with on a regular basis to get is calm and used to being handled.

  • cute :D
