I was thinking the exact thing that you said at the end that it was be great for a wedding guest or a bridesmaid, or even if you did something a little more elaborate or in the back for the bride herself. I don't know if this would work at all on me though because I'm a natural blonde so my individual hairs are finer and my hair is also layered right now and I really like it that way so I'll grow it longer but continue to keep it layered...

Its a nice hairdo, but I just wanted to point out that for a rope braid you twist the two stands in the same direction and then wrap them around each other by twisting in the opposite direction from which you initially twisted, other than that, love this hairdo, thanks ;)

in order for the braid to really take the appearance of a rope you can also twist the two individual strands away from your face and then twist them both toether towards your face just a little tip :) thanks for making awesome videos!

I do a variation of this all the time. Sometimes I do one of those rope twists on both sides of my head (divide my hair straight down the center). It looks like a lazy cute french braid.

to do a rope braid u twist one direction and then twist them together the opposite direction. So if u want it to be seperated like a rope, u would need to twist the hair inwards first, then twist the two together outwards. If u twist them the same directed twice it comes out as one large twist
