  • Today Feb. 01, 2012 we mourn the loss of Don Cornelius. May his memory be for a blessing always.

  • @RandallBay oh dear when did he die?

  • We all appreciate a good 'unplugged version' of a master's work. Thanks.

  • Thanks for posting this!! Didnt know who sang these songs but adore them both. When I worked at night a radio played them both alot. I know every word. He has aged well and sounds better than alot of todays "singers".

  • One of my favorite songs of the early 70s.

  • I found myself smiling thru this whole video,Thank you much!

  • Very cool to see one of my favorites perform this live. Certainly made for some great memories for the bride and groom! Congrats to to them and thanks for sharing!

  • LOVED LOVED IT! I wish i was there i would have danced myself to death and He still looks great with a wondrful sense o humor i had to play it twice!

  • boy this was a great video looking on the web trying to find videos on them and came upon this i am in my late 50 's and really like cornelius brothers and sister Rose when I was young and stationed in georgia, thank you for the down load load, be blessed

  • I loved these guys 40 years ago. Thanks for posting this video.

  • XC:

  • Wow what a GREAT video !!!! What happened to incredible raw talent like the Cornelius Brother and Sister Rose. What an absolute blessing to have them at your wedding.

  • I, for one, feel blessed to have grown up with this music in the early '70s. The Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose were the "sound of the Summer of '70". I would love to see them tour once more! To echo another comment, you were very lucky to have this great talent at your wedding!

  • How lucky to have this talent at your wedding.

  • nice!

  • Organic, FUN, and Kick Ass baby! What a special wedding present.

  • He sounds The Balls! Righteous!

  • Incredible!!

  • y arent there more videos for this song ?????????????? preferably one with better sound quality

  • Lol they did the damn thang

  • I absolutely LOVED this video! I am a huge fan of Cornelius Brothers and Sister Rose and this was priceless. How fortunate these people are to have witnessed this performance, I hope they appreciated it. as much as I did. Thank you very much for the posting.

  • I believe I believe I believe that this brings back so many Solid Gold AM memories !

  • Thank you so much for this clip!

So Fantastic, I wish I could have been there!

Makes me so happy!! I'm Slidin' right now!

  • For some inexplicable reason, there has been no video footage,of this phenomenal group. They owned the airways,in the early 70's.Can't thank you enough, for this posting, and live performing,to boot!

  • Do they not know?

  • I would be so STOKED to be in the same room with them, not to mention having them perform!!!!

  • Cool, I miss this talented singing. Good voices, good performers!!!

  • Ah, man ... this is priceless. I've been looking for current footage of them FOREVER, with no luck. Thanks soooo much for adding. Coolest upload on YT.

  • Ya know, I'm not the marring type...but if I could get Cornelious Brothers and Sister Rose to perform at my reception I might consider it. How lucky these people are. I'm feeling at least 5 of the 7 sins.

  • This wedding did not look like it was jumping. I know so many weddings that would have been packed to the roof if they came and did these two songs.

  • @Hollywood1127 I agree. Not sure that these folks realized they were in the presence of AM-Pop-Radio Royalty!! Many of them look too young to appreciate it. Eddie still sounds exactly the same ... and Sister Rose didn't miss a beat.

  • I wish they were at my wedding...I would have been dancing on the table.

  • Wow, the real deal? The audience doesn't seem to realize who they have there...I loved this group...a most unusual singing style never to be repeated.

  • Eddie is a Great song writer and performer..Played lead guitar with him in the Early 80's...Vic (The Guitar) Nielsen

  • My favorite song of all time as well!!!!!LONG LIVE THE CORNELLIUS BROTHERS BABY SISTER ROES AND LITTLE SISTER BILLY JO

  • I Love this talented group! My favorite of all time! I have dreamed of getting to see them preform live! I've watched this a dozen times! God bless The Cornelius Brothers And Sister Rose!

  • Incredible, thanks for sharing

  • This is so awsome.....they are really in the groove
