  • "Stranded in infinity rooms..." brings to mind the infinity room the Milwaukee Art Center has/used to have. Creepy lyric. Beck certainly knows how to turn a phrase.

  • @TheArizonaMark true, they all sound great

  • My favorite song on Sea Change.

  • What? Pretty song?! I haven't heard much stuff from Beck but this song sounded to me surreal, too amazing, from the first time i ever listened to it!

  • Sea Change is my favorite album. It's mature and rich and authentic. All the songs have a special place in my heart. Bravo Beck! I don't think it had the recognition that it deserved. I guess people who know what's really good know that this one is a classic.

  • This LP is like my own private Dark Side Of The Moon.

I couldn't believe that people actually got mad when he made this.

The bloody SF Guardian printed THREE reviews in one issue trashing it.

    Seems it wasn't "fun" enough.

    "Are we having fun yet?"

  • Perfect replacement therapy for Rupert Murdoch.

  • this whole album is pure genius.

  • I wish I could make a song as good as Beck and Nigel do... Oh well, gotta keep doing my thing... Check out my songs!

  • When Beck was shoved down our throats on the radio with 'loser' and 'where its at'' I thought oh great more whigger music just what the world needs right? I'm so glad Beck diversified and produced gems like this.

  • No one is a mortal dude. We are all Beck you see...

    :)

Bello escapismo. Gracias Beck.

  • @JuanAbrilRamos Que bonito...

  • smoke up!

  • awesome song to sit and get stoned and hang out with

  • @camarolover1982 lol, you dorks think that 'stoner music' = any time someone uses exotic instruments (especially sitars) or lush arrangements. This is one of Beck's most ambitious albums. Reducing it to stoner music is lame and makes you sound like a baby boomer (my parents)

  • @ritter89

He didn't call it a stoner album. He just said it's an album he loves to get high to. I don't think "Guess I'm Doing Fine" or "The Golden Age" are considered stoner songs.

Take it easy. People'll get high to whatever they want. No one is stamping "stoner" on the piece...

  • the live version on letterman sounds so much better

  • nice song! :D

  • i like to relax and meditate to this song

i love you beck no i ain't gay

it's just you're awesome but in a bigger way

  • this album reminds me alot of "Mutations".

  • Heard The Cinematics cover this first but I really love the original :D

  • Great album (cd?), Mutations was my fave until this one came along

  • Whale sounds

  • oooh i remember listen to this song trying to get my homework done but the sun was shining outside so i took my dog and walked through the forest about 2 hours

  • Haha i did the same thing.

Exccept for the homework part lol

  • even tho it's raining this sunday, this song still has power and mystery...there's something about sunday; past, present and future. nice clip, thanks!

  • you pierce through these walls like water in the desert I'm open to you, it's never the time nor the place in this one wheel wagon town cause they would talk like the crows in the fields but does it matter, when you come floating into the dust bowl of the forgotten, i'm the one that discovered your secret cause I've got a few of my own and do we spill them like lovers in back rooms looking for a way out

  • i like it...like it alot

  • @weatherboi I'm sorry Neil Diamond has such a weak stomach. Must suck for a musician to throw up when listening to music.

  • Not sure what ur talking about?

  • @CosChrono; excellent observation! LOL!

  • @weatherboi only from the shock of having experienced the magical transcendence of an out-of-body experience.

  • I always loved this song and I now have a better appreciation of Sea Change

  • beautiful song. love SEa Change

  • this was not sloppy! very nice!!!! I haven't seen half of this pics I'm like whoa thats him?? lol especially on the second one. hes so funny.

  • "sloppy job"?

That was great! Nice to see a montage of the greatest muscian since morphine ;)

  • "....and my eyes...they stray again...."

Sunday sun is about finally putting that horrible relationship in the past....good riddance....

  • i wish we were all at a party together and this came on...amazing

  • Wow. A friend sent this video link. Hadn't heard Beck's work before. Brilliant. I'll go buy it from iTunes. Beck's work has some uncanny shades of the late Jimmie Spheeris (visit my YouTube channel or Google "Jimmie Spheeris Memorial Gallery"). Thanks for introducing me to Beck's work.
