  • This is very good, however you forgot to acknowledge another fact. In 1965, she helped break The Color Barrier when Billly Dee Willams and Cicely Tyson were the First African American Actors on The Soaps as Dr. Jim and Martha Frazier.

  • Another error was that the era of Old Time Radio ended in 1962, not when "Another World" premiered in 1964.

  • no you KNOW that had to have been a MAJOR era when Radio had to have been ended when "The Guiding Light" went from radio to telly in 1952.

  • Great start! Only one error... "Another World" was never a radio soap -- it was originally conceived as a spin-off of "As the World Turns," daytime TV's first 30-minute soap (along with "The Edge of Night," both on CBS).
