Please keep in mind that this is not an Evans Blue song; it is a song by our friends, the Japanese band HeavensDust, and they asked Dan from EB to contribute his lyrics, melody and vocals. Our hope is to help the people who are being exposed to dangerous levels of radiation, including the band and their families. So that is why the song is for Japan; the idea for The Sounds Of Hope EP came from them.

japan is a rich country.. they are not third world.. they have money ...

you'd be better off doing a song about how their government tells lies and doesn't care about the radiation the people are getting and the water even in tokyo is radiated way beyond safe ...

Thank you for all the positive comments! This particular song and video were created to help Japan as a collaboration with our friends HeavensDust who live there. But we do care about victims of disaster in all parts of the world. Evans Blue is also playing a benefit in St Louis on Aug 11th for the victims of the Joplin tornadoes. We try to do all we can do to help wherever possible.
