I don't remember if I fell in love with this piece when I saw the movie as a college smartass, or if
I bought the album first, but I have loved this ever since. I learned to play it on an alto and got it in the wrong key, cuz that was in the dark analog ages. Then I learned it on the Tenor and got it wrong, too. But I had the intervals right and I always used it as a warm up. What a great melody. And the way it moves up and down the horn. Gato's other stuff is amazing, too. I bought it all.
