I personally own 6 chinchillas, 2 of which have been rescued from a pet store and were severely abused to the point of missing toes and ears, as well as skin infection.
Another one came from a breeder that had 200 chinchillas in horrible conditions with severe behavior and mental problems.

This makes me so angry! I hate how pretty much every human thinks "Oh, I'm a human I can do what I want" NO! That was very hard to watch. But no matter how much you watch, it it still shocking, and makes you sick. It makes you wonder, how those people who do those things can live seeing the stuff that they do. The pain they cause just for money is disgusting, a bullet to the head of the animal would still be a far more humane thing to do, no matter what the cause.

I think I may of just become a vegetarian. I have often had internal dialogue and always debated why in that I am such a firm believer of human rights had I not streched the same empathy to animals. I always came to the conclusion that it was because I did not understand there fore could not feel as much. But this has jotled something in my mind, literally almost a five minute video on youtube has possibly cemented a political and emotive change in my mind. For that I thank you.

i found the song: Moby - why does my heart feel so bad? saddening before watching this video. But combined with those video clips, that was quite possibly the saddest "thing" i've ever seen in my life. This video is brilliantly made and for a superb cause.

The song is melancholic but the lyrics are quite optimistic: "These open doors" showing that we CAN stop this from happening.

Thank you for making this video, its very heartbreaking and I hope some people will change their lifestyle and start to show respect and love for other living things.
I personally own 6 chinchillas, 2 of which have been rescued from a pet store and were severely abused to the point of missing toes and ears, as well as skin infection.
Another one came from a breeder that had 200 chinchillas in horrible conditions with severe behavior and mental problems.
All of them are happy and healthy now
