  • I figured the idea for this worked something like that.

    Seriously though it started out as a straight horror movie until Sam Jackson and the internet got a hold of it, and turned it into the mess it became.

    But it's worth seeing exactly once. Just no point in seeing it a second time.

    It's just like a train wreck... you don't want to look, but you just can't help yourself.

Just kidding of course, each Jason film is a flawlessly concieved, robust yet surprisingly tender balance of high art simplicity of concept intergrated seamlessly into a tapestry of striking emotional resonance and visceral imagery. It would be almost impossible to choose a favourite just as it is impossible to choose from Rembrant, Picasso, Reubens or Van Gough...it's part 6 right?

  • Well I think it was a book before it was a movie... I haven't read it, but I believe it was Turbulences by Michael Crichton, who usually is a good author. The book was in French originally, so I haven't read it yet. Usually his books are better than the movies made from them... *shrugs*

  • It only became a joke after the studio realized it became the laughing stock of the internet. They went back and reshot some scenes and re editted the movie so that it seems like they always meant it to be funny.
