This experience also thought us the importance of tolerance and understanding for others and how important forgiveness is. If you cannot forgive you will always be a hostage. Violence and hate has never and will never be the solution. It will only fuel wars and destroy people.

We were on a scuba diving holiday in Sipidan considered one of the best scuba diving spots in the world. This is an island in Malaysia and considered to be safe. We are abducted on the second day of our holiday by the Abu Sayyaf. We were taken to Jolo Island in the Philippines where we were kept hostage for 4 months.
Why do people go on vacation to these places they KNOW are not safe for (white) foreigners? - You couldn't pay me enough money to go to most of Indonesia, the Philippines, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Columbia or anywhere in the Arab world where these backwards ass fanatical (mostly) Muslim retards don't twice about murdering innocent tourists in cold blood just to make a point.

I also learned English because it's what everyone around me speaks rather than because that's what all the job producers speak (it's also ironic we, the "stupid" people you hate so much, are the ones who thought up your job). Chicken blood doesn't run down the streets. Our biggest concern isn't if we'll run out of living space tomorrow. My government, while horribly inaccurate, doesn't take me away in the middle of the night to a "happy camp" whenever I do something they don't like.
