Frusciante is the man, like honestly hes definatly up there with the amazing guitarists like slash, although he plays a different style than him hes still a pioneer. I saw them live this year in Vancouver and it was such a good show, Frusciante played his other solo song "maybe", if you havnt heard it, its damn good. Also, buy or go on itunes and download his solo material work its like low-fi and electronica

god, that cover is amazing. he has such a great voice, and it's complemented by his guitar playing/music writing abilities. even as a bass player, I think he shines the brightest in RHCP in their most current stuff. but his solo stuff definitely stands on it's own.
