@Kylienfriends No...this form of the zodiac is far older than 2009. HAHA! People in ancient times had 13 months to a year (to match the lunar cycle), they also had 360 days in their calendar...the calendar changed from the Julian system to the Gregorian system in 1582.

well, astronomically the signs are not in line with the astrological signs.

1. Tropical
2. Sidereal
Tropical hasn't changed, and only sidereal has if you were born after 2009. So if you were a leo you still are. No one ever goes by sidereal!! It's not accurate! That would be funny though if we all woke up as a different sign, the world would be insane...

I only use the CNN article, because I know people are more likely to believe CNN over me or another non-famous astrologer.

Actually, this has nothing to do with us in the Western World. We follow the Tropical Zodiac, which is fixed to the seasons, as opposed to the Sidereal Zodiac, which is fixed to the stars. It has nothing to do with people born after a certain year and both zodiacs have been around for a very long time.
