  • R.I.P. Zera : (

  • My grandma named my mom's middle name after her. R.I.P Suzanna Pleshette.

  • The last episode of "Newhart" was such a surprise. It's my most favorite scene, a perfect ending, she was priceless! Rest In Peace Ms. Pleshette

  • @Starrman69 Hear! Hear! The funniest ending to the funniest television show in the history of television. She was wonderful. I always remember If it's Tuesday... as well. She was such a doll.

  • R.I.P.Suzanne Pleshette!!!!!!!!

  • Esta mujer debió ser premiada con el Oscar por su calidad interpretativa no reconocida pero si por sus fans que son millones en el mundo. Descanza en paz Suzye

  • I loved her on the Bob Newhart show. Time seems to have passed so quickly since then.

  • Beautiful lady, sexy voice, wonderful actress/comedienne! I used to watch the Bob Newhart Show faithfully - I had a massive schoolboy crush on her! She's become one of the "Stars in the Heavens!"

  • she did optimus prime's voice in transformers

  • She had the sexiest voice of all time. I will miss her. She was the only woman who could play opposite Bob. Suzanne will be missed by all of us. We will never forget her.

  • @BudStv23 She did have the sexiest voice of all time. Sadly the very cause of that sexy voice was ultimately the cause of her death. Years and years of heavy smoking took it's toll on her.

But she was one of a kind and a very VERY classy lady!

  • She voiced Zira at lion king 2

  • She was also in a lot of Walt Disney movies

  • @hardluckboogie I had seen her in "The Fugitive" and "The FBI" and the ABC "Movie Of The Week"

  • I remember her from Rome Adventure, Ad La

  • She brought us much joy and laughter. I still remember her in this ridiculous t-shirt with rhinestones on it, in Newhart Show, when her character was trying to be a young girl again and supposedly looking silly..but she was so beautiful, she could not truly look silly!

  • Suzanne Pleshette did a voice job also.

  • the beautiful and sarcastic Tom Poston

  • RIP Suzanne Pleshette WE LOVE YOU!!!!!

  • She was one of a kind...I don't thing no one had a voice like hers........RIP.

  • I loved her as an actress. She was so talented, and never played a "wife" like Patricia Heaton. She was classy, and smart, but always supportive and funny. She was a delight. She died much too young. God bless.

  • @sjcpony how is 70 too young you retard

  • I remember when I first watch the Bob Newhart Show in the fall of 1972. I remember it following the Mary Tyler Moore Show on CBS. She was truly one of many gifts of laughter from God.

  • Dear Fawsag, Ms.Bancroft died a few years ago..not

    this past year.

  • It is coincidental that Suzanne Pleshette replaced Ann Bancroft on Broadway in "The Miracle Worker". I never knew that. Pleshette and Bancroft are two of my favorite actors, and we lost both of them this year. So sad. Two beautiful and talented ladies.

  • So sad. I thought she was great in "The Birds." I also liked her voice work in "Spirited Away" and "Lion King 2: Simba's Pride."

  • R.I.P. Ms. Pleshette. I remember you from the Bob Newhart Show, Maggie Briggs, and the final episode of Newhart. Now you'll continue your superstardom up in the sky. Peace!!!!!

  • rip

  • My memory of her was in the television show Route 66 in the 1960s -- so very beautiful. Rest in peace. (Sydney Australia)

  • I first saw Suzanne when she starred in Rome Adventure. She was beautiful, talented and became my favorite star. This is a sad day as she passed away prematurely. May she rest in peace.

  • that scene from the final newhart used to be up but was taken down, prob due to copyright issues.

  • Such a beautiful woman...loved her in The birds...very sad loss

  • One of the classiest ladies and the most beautiful. Did smoking do this to her?

  • Class act.

  • On the front of the tabloids this week the headlines read " Her Last Days " whenever they do that whoever it is , is usually dead within a week. I will miss her talent, one of the great stars of our times!

  • PS Shell Be Very Much Missed

  • The final scene in the final episode of Newhart is simply the best! I've searched and cannot find the video - anyone with links?

  • I've been searching too and cannot find it. Hopefully someone will produce a link.

  • Dont Know If This Will Help but, The First season Of Newhart Will Be Out In Feb

  • I don't think the org. clip is allowed on YouTube but I just posted their 2003 version. I just posted it so it might take a few hours to show in "search" but you can view all my videos and it should be there.

  • Her appearance on the final Bob Newhart Show is television history, perhaps the best final sit-com episode ever. "If I'm in Timbuktu, I'll fly home to do that," she said of doing it.

  • Right, it was Newhart, the original was The Bob Newhart Show, my bad.

  • I remember being stunned and delighted when she reappeared at the end of the final "Newhart" episode. We have lost a real gem.

  • A marvelous actress R.I.P

  • RIP, Suzanne. I loved your work and you will be missed. :(

  • She was amazing! Her comic timing was always on point and she helped all us girls growing up learn how to "drop" a line....lol.....she will be missed.

  • Great was fantastic on the Newhart Show! Always thought her voice was sexy. R.I.P.

  • I am very sad to hear this what a wonderful and talented actress she will be missed a lot.

  • What a great actress and a real star. She will be missed!

  • very sad news i love her

  • What a sad weekend. First Allan Melvin, and now Suzanne.
