@BRINGONTHEYEAAH The actual leather ones you get, yes, you can upgrade them. The ones with no armor rating, like the sneaking hood, and the mage-ish clothes you can't.
Although, even when upgrading them, the actual armor rating they provide is extremely low. Only really good for the look+enchantments.
@tiagoschramm4 I don't use daggers all the time. Sometimes it gets to the point where I have to go all out after being discovered since stealth doesn't work 100% of the time.

@ACBdiehardfan If you are undetected, yes. But the fastest way by far to level sneaking I've found was to run through different burials/barrows while sneaking, and just sneak attack the Draugr that didn't get up yet. (Can tell which ones that get up since they have a weapon/armor on them)
Sneak attacks grant way more in terms of leveling sneak quickly and productively compared to the ol' sneak into a corner routine.
@ForceX9 Actually I asked my friend who's sneak is like 90, and he said the best way is to go to High Hrothgar (the grey beards) and sit behind them and punch them because they won't hit back, I went from like 25 sneak to 80 in about a half hour.
My playstyle is very similar, but instead of the second dagger I use a Fire Rune.
Very cool combination when setting up traps. If there's a bunch of enemies standing close together, i put a Rune trap near an exit and snipe one of them with a bow. Then the rest will go to the exit (place where you shot from) and run into the trap taking a bunch of damage.

@ryanxcyc I don't think so. I got the Blade of Woe at like, level 23 or so, and Mehrunes' Razor at 34. Blade of Woe still does more pure damage, but it a little slower because of the weight but Mehrunes' Razor isn't really there for the damage, but the random insta-kill enchantment. Mehrunes' Razor can only be obtained after level 20 though.
I think all the Daedric artifacts are set on their stats, where only certain unique 'found' weapons are leveled.
@ForceX9 asssassinate never apeares by me... i have 2 dagger, they dont see me and i do normal attack. it only says 30x the damage.... is there a bug?
@eierkuchen001 Ah, a command doesn't come up, it's just one of the animations that can come up. So far, I've had it happen every time when attacking from being hidden as long as the target was standing up. If it doesn't work, try doing power attacks while behind them and sneaking. You have to be relatively close to pull it off as well, and works with any one handed weapon as long as it's in the right hand. No fancy assassinations for lefties.

The first is a basic spell, believe listed under Alteration as Detect Life (Since they seemingly ditched Mysticism altogether in Skyrim) and also there is a Shout that grants Detect Life, called Aura Whisper. Currently only have two words of it now, and I can't remember where I got the first part.. If you saw my World Map, you'd know why. Just waaaaaay too many places.

i have two blade of woes because i pickpocketed it from the guild master chick at the very beginning. well you could always give yourself another with a console command, but i got mine legitimately (even though it's stolen). i hate that its charge runs out so quickly.
@no1sjester Ah... No need for two, since things are usually dead with only one. Although, I have two pieces of Mehrunes Razor, still no hax.. Not sure how many pieces I'd need to actually finish the thing though. :O The Razor + Blade of Woe will be nice, currently working with the teleportin' style of Shadow Warrior. Why does it say "Sneak attack for 30.0X damage"? I thought dagger sneak attacks were only supposed to be 15.0X damage. Or is it because you are dual wielding?
@Vahntronoy It's because of the gloves. Shrouded Gloves/Handwraps/Cicero's Gloves, all from the Dark Brotherhood questline double your backstab damage, making it a total of 30x damage when using daggers with the Assassin's Blade perk.
@KillaD747 Check previous comments.:P Blade of Woe is from the Dark Brotherhood quest chain, the ebony dagger is just a random loot drop from enemies/chests.
@noobfight Though some prefer khajiit or wood elves, Khajiit being better with melee and unarmed and wood elves for their frilly bows, I personally prefer argonians because of the unlimited underwater breathing and the quick health regen racial.
@ZandalariHero It's pretty much the generic right hand rear stealth kill. Haven't tried quick slashes, so I'm guessing a power attack would guarantee it as long as you aren't detected. Reminds me, guess I have another attack to test, since about 90% of the time I'm using power attacks regardless.
@MyssenMX It's near the end of the Dark Brotherhood questline. Stumbled upon them by chance, you'd have to follow a lead on the Black Sacrament being performed in one of the major cities.. Can't say more than that without giving too much away. ;3
