ooohw I want to see tha Blackhawkss !!! yeahhhhh I like NHL , Im from Mexico and soon I will be moving to live to Italy . I have one week to spend there , Im going to the museums , to the acuarium , parks , WILII towers , italian colony and everywhere I could
@tepiacapower oh yeah Chicago's winters are like an alaskan adventure without the polar bears. you just have to dress for it. Chicago is known as a fashionable winter city & we dress in the latest winter fashions from head to toe. even our Chicago women dress sexy in the winter. lol. you'll fit right in with the right winter gear
@26Deacon Im from the beach , Im not used to the cold , I have neer seen snow , so I guess this is gonna be my first time. Im worried because I have not proper clothes for this ocassion and Im gonna have to buy something there . I wanna go to the the chicago bulls as it was my fav team when Jordan played there, what else can I do?
@tepiacapower yeah the Bulls looking better this season. hope they bring this city another championship since he Jordan era. besides catching the Bulls games you can also catch the Chicago Blackhawks games too. they have the best record in the NHL right now. you can also wine & dine at our restaurants, tour our Willis Tower or John Hancock observatory from high up, check out our night life especially Rush St. or the Wicker Park & River North hoods. Chicago has it all. you dont need a car.
I'm coming to Chicago this winter!:))) Can't wait to see it, I miss it a lot and hopefully I'm moving there in next two years:))) Greetings form Slovenia!;)
winter of '05, i think it was? back home 120 or so miles away on the other side of southbend ( not saying where im from couse that dont matter here) the temps droped below -10* and ppl still wonder why I FUKIN HATE WINTER!!! gima heat, least MORE shit is open so there IS MORE TO DO! best thing in the winter is to not be out in it! maybe im sayin allthis couse i love to ride and u cant realy do that on 2 wheels. then again too many ppl cant DRIVE on 4....
@Jaylinkin LOL, Chicago has two seasons. Winter and construction season. In all honesty though, there's really no fall or spring. It goes from one extreme to the other very quickly. It'll be snowing in mid-April. Then 75 degrees two weeks later.
Call THAT a rough winter? pff. Thats nothing compare to what we got last year in quebec. we got 17 foot tall of snow and like 9 storms! I'm not joking!
Chicago is a city of roughly 3 million and 9 million (almost 10) in the metropolitan area. Can you imagine how hectic it is to a city of a few hundred thousand?
@Warrior536 I don't think he's saying that particular day was rough. Just that YEAR the winder is rough. I rememewber one storm we got. There was ice ckaed on everything. People cars wouldn't start and the power was olut for days. All the hotels were filled up because nobody had heat.
Thanks for the video. I live in Florida and I am probably the ONLY Floridian that wants to move TO Chicago... yes I do. You folks probably get tired of all the cold and snow... well we get tired of all the heat... at least I do anyway.
I've never been through a REAL winter when it snows. In 1989, just before Christmas, it snowed here and you'da thought the world came to a screechin' halt. Nobody knew what to do... including me. I nearly got in 2 accidents that day. But that don't really count.
oh god! i agree! i'm from ohio, love winter, livin in hot south, but am moving to chicago as soon as i graduate...i love that city...and christmas, thanksgiving, just the best time of year to be in the best city! love it.
@gracebeliever I'm with you. I mean I live in South Florida in a little city about 5 miles from Miami and I just love the cold. I'm reallly getting tired of like 95 degrees for a high. It rains hear alot but what can you do with rain splash in puddles. But with snow you can make snowballs snowman snowangels you can go skiing sleding and all that stuff.
Yup. That's winter in Chicago, all right! Before you posted what the street was, I just figured you were driving on the north side, judging from all the brownstone two-flats. Unfortunately, with all the godd*m condos going up, it gets harder to identify REAL Chicago anymore. Thanks for posting this!
