Some are simply born to do what they do. I've known Jack since we were 12. I started drums when he did, but here is the difference between Jack & me. When we were 18, Jack & I, + 2 others Incl. Alain Johannes for those who know, hiked 10 days across the Sierra's mountains. We all had backpacks, food, water, sleeping bag etc., but Jack brought something I didn't. Drum sticks. He'd practice on rocks, dirt, whatever. It was his passion. He's who he is because of talent and passion. I lacked passion

Folks who don't like this are clearly unable to unhear the Floyd version. I love Pink Floyd with a passion. But this rocks. If we'd never heard the Floyd version, most of us would agree this is amazing. But because a sad number of people can't just LISTEN to something without loading their weapons and aiming FIRST, the trigger too often gets pulled before the song even gets going. Sucks to be them. They miss a lotta good shit.

I put this phenomenal cover up, along with another great version by Les Claypool. You should give them a proper listen to get your head round them. But hey, if you're too narrow minded to appreciate top artists paying tribute to Pink Floyd or any other great band that's very unfortunate...

I've studied drums for 3 years and have played for 20. To me Jack's drumming is more special than Dave's. I love all of the work from both of them. But Jack is so unique - there is no-one like him. His playing on No Code in particular has a magical quality to it. I think it's pointless to compare two very different drummers. Dave's drumming on Vs and Vitalogy is quite amazing. Some might argue that Dave is a more technical player. Fine. Music is art, not sport - there's no need to 'win'.

Jack is very good, no doubt about that, but Matt showed all is quality on "Backspacer" proving to be, by far, the best drummer PJ ever had, just, titanic drumming

Hate to get into this, but...

Jack has more personality in his drumming. Cameron is more techinically proficient. Love them both. Hate to pick just one. Would love to see all the drummers take their signature songs on in one concert.  Rotation style.

I think he is, but couldn't say for certain. He definitely plays on a couple of songs on the album.

But judging by the fact he released a version of this with his Frog Brigade, it's probably a fair bet to say he played on this song.
