  • Ever checked out the RCC's latest catechism book (1994, I believe)?

It accurately quotes the six-day Creation/seventh day of rest, stating that the seventh-day is the Lord's day which He has commanded to be honored (they say by Israel, though, not by MANKIND), and goes on to present its own implication (NOT requirement) that Christians are to honor Sundays.

We all know that the only ones considered Christians by Catholics ARE Catholics, right? And that all Protestants are "separated brethren"?

  • @jkw733 I'd be interested in seeing that. I just read a few pages out of "catholicism for dummies" which plainly admits, like many other catholic quotes, that catholicism "and christianity" changed the day. it's unreal that so many professing prots dont think a thing is wrong with that.

I thought it was funny a catholic book would basically say that catholics are not christian.

actually, 90% of catholics I deal with say we are heretics, not "brethren" :)

    happy thanksgiving bro Jim :)

  • @rusda2 You can pull up the "Third Commandment" section of the RCC catechism by Googling "catechism 2168". I think there may be a comment on the Vatican's website (vatican . va) somewhere as well, about "separated brethren".

    Happy Sabbath your way!

  • @jkw733 Also, FYI, when you see that page you will find little numbers at the end of various passages. These refer you to the sources of their statements/conclusions as listed at the bottom of the page ...

  • @rusda2 Here ya go!

Church Councils | One Apostolic Church | Decree on Ecumenism

Note: The term "separated brethren" refers to Protestant and Orthodox christians — to non-Catholic christians. (note the lower-case "c"!!!)

  • Kool! see ya later alligator! got lots work to do, keep in touch!

  • I remember you, glad to see you again!

  • @YahshuaLovesMe LOL...yes same to you my friend :)

  • Sunday keeping is the old covenant with paganism.

  • @YahshuaLovesMe yep, most definitely paganism. just wish most peoples eyes were not closed.

  • @rusda2 yeah, me too, the Word of Life is not being so well received in our very Last Days, but the Prophesies promise a great multitude under the Image of the Beast, will be saved, so we should never give up on our fellows, no matter what! A Life, Saved, is precious to Yahshua!

  • @YahshuaLovesMe very true, thanks for your comment.

  • @rusda2 Ditto!

  • Good vid bro

  • thanks man, all glory to God and his servant Joe Crews! I just did the EZ part :)
