This song is not sung by a Japanese singer its sang my Aubrey Ashburn who is from the states and just won an award from the HMMA for best original song for a video. That game being Dragonage: Origins. You can here her angelic voice all throughout that game. This song is from a Japanese video game called Devil May Cry 4 but she is not Japanese.
Wow, you know your stuff XD But I bet the song is written by a japanese though OO and they still have the thing for opera in their games, in Devil May Cry, in Final Fantasy and other games and movies from Japan. Most of the time, they dont use japanese opera singers, same as China, with their movie Flying Daggers and Kathleen Battle ^^
actually she is the writer and is very capable of writing her own songs. She is INCREDIBLY talented and not only won an award for this song but for the new ending credits song in Dragonage which she co-wrote with Inon Zur. Keep an eye out for Aubrey. She is from Boston, btw. The musical composer was most likely someone else but she does write her own words and sings them.
