@bennyboyjones there is a living with ricky 2 on the FAME dvd but no ones uploaded it for some reason. i can find little clips but not the full version
Aww Robin! You know things arent gonna go well when Robin tries to explain the lies involved within the diary but gets shut down, and even apologises after Ricky's fist and only insistance!
Ricky - "I'm reading a diary"
Robin - "Sorry"
Walk away now Robin. This is not going to end well.
damn, how does gervais always find these weird loser type people, and how do they always befriend him, when all he does is wind them up and stress them out and wrestle them.. who would wanna be friends with someone like that?
I agree with alot of people here that Ince often falls flat, but I usually blame the audience. He makes few compromises, so what can one expect? Stewart Lee, Simon Munnery, and the like have the exact same problem.
@mkrause3 The way that he groans before saying 'September 12th' made me wonder whether he skipped a page to the 12th for that very reason, or then lied so not to bring up 9/11. Then I realized that was stupid. Would Ricky be writing humorous diaries on a day like 9/11?
I'm not a fan of Robin. When he fails, it's cringe worthy, mainly because of the big smile on his face as everyone stares on, but when he's good, he's really good. I guess you just have to catch him on a good day!

i'll say it again robin ince is SHITE....ricky actually lists what work he has got him because he cant do it on his own talent....another example of him clinging on to ricky's coat tails getting dragged through his shitty career...cunt
I love Ricky's childlike delight at himself. It borders on a seriously inflated ego, but it's so purely joyous, one can't help but forgive the self-promotion, whether or not he means it. (Is it facetious, or are we just supposed to think it is?).
I suspect his friends wish they didn't love him but they can't help it.
i saw Robin live once in a tiny little room. After the show i asked him if he kept up the diary and he said thankfully no. Robin seems really down to earth and appriciative of his fans unlike Gervais who doesnt like meeting fans.

That's why he is a successful comedian who has opened for Gervais' stand-up.
Yeah, what a fucking loser.

How would you describe the noise Gervais often makes in Robin's ear? The 'errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnhhhhhhh', help

@Nogli Yes. Yes he would. Because, for most people, it's just a day like any other.
What a stupid question.

This is so mental! I can't even begin to comprehend the thought process that goes into creating a diary for someone else that is mainly lying xD

I love Ricky but ive seen Robin live once, most of the people were cringing.
Odly he is quite funny here and some other times ive heard him with gervais, but when he tries to be funny he completely fails at it :S

I can't stand Robin, I find him really unfunny. It makes me so happy when Ricky tortures him.
Then again, I guess anyone would be unfunny next to Ricky.

I didn't find him funny either at first, because Karl is so much funnier, but in these clips I think Robin is very good
