@mikewill9511 Dude, they're completely different bands and by that I mean their style. Tarja Turunen has started singing since she was a child, which explains her incredible/opera voice. Amy Lee is more into writing and exploring music, but she also has no vocal training and you have to give her props because she does have a really good voice for someone without vocal training, and she's a classically trained (9 years) pianist. They're both good in their own ways. :)

Nightwish versus Epica though even that is quite a far stretch haha , u see Nightwish was a metal genre by itself, even epica was influenced by it.
