@Link500ACS Actually, John was unable to create the cartoons fast enough, and only managed to complete three out of the requested nine per season, so the network decided to cancel it after only one month. As for the original Ren and Stimpy cartoons, it was cancelled because of friction between John and Nickelodeon due to his habit of delivering his cartoons past its deadline. Why the cartoon wasn't cancelled earlier because of its disturbing content, I don't know, but I'm glad it wasn't!
