I first heard this song through DDR, when Wildside covered it, and then found the original through GF/DM. This is an absolutely amazing song, and one of my favorites.
I must say I'm very happy to have english as my mother language, because the more and more japanese music you listen to- you realize all the english titles NOT translated into japanese, and all of the random words they use in english.
Genki basically means healthy. "O genki desu ka" or "How is your health" roughly is kind of used as a greeting in Japanese. Kind of like when we say, "What's up?" in America
The way she sings many of her songs and the way they are written make them very hard to sing! Considering the vocal obsticle course she creates for herself, I think she does a stellar job.
Nope, Wildside remixed Yaida's version, along with some alterations to the lyrics. The original version was written (music and lyrics) by Yaida Hitomi.
so cute n__n

for a non-english speaker, the lyrics for the chorus are really well written.
i give her kudos for songwriting and for trying to sing lot of her songs in english.
as well as for also getting a degree in french lit.
