With hail being that big I would really be concerned about a tornado at any moment. Reason being the storm has a lot of upward, and downward drafts causing such huge hail. Also a storm producing softball sized hail is likely a super cell thunderstorm which usually produces tornadoes.

@mthw25 Downdrafts don't cause the huge hail, it's just the updraft. He is right under the updraft section of a supercell storm, and you're right about a potential tornado possibly bearing down on his area. Any storm that produces softball size hail will be a supercell also. I was storm chasing this day, except I was in Wakita where I managed to catch a multiple vortex tornado. I'm right at the updraft section of the storm in my video. It also put down huge hail which was up to softball size.
