Mike i have got my grubee yesterday i added 8 ounces of oil to one gallon of gas it was kinda weird i rev my engine up it was a better response and when i rode it ive notice that my engine was broken in fast it was a quick luberication so the break in period was over when i installed it , i love grubee skyhawk motors.

I have the exact same setup you have! I was riding mine around today, and I got a ticket and I have to go to court. In Florida these are not legal to ride on the road or the sidewalk.

And I have a valid drivers license. It sucks because the cop lives a couple of blocks away, and the said next time I'll go to jail!

Why the hell di they sell these kits if your only allowed to use them on private property!!

They are useless.

@24mcharlotte thats not what the cop said, and i lookend into it and according to florida law, you have to get a moped tag and have a class E license as long as it is 49cc or less, but it doesnt have to be registered, because this is a moped under florida law, i got the moped tag and now i ride around with a copy of that law, so next time that cop cant do anything, I hate how ignorant police officers are when it comes to this kind of stuff.

The laws vary state to state. In TN, all you need is normal driver's license (not motorcycle) and it has to be max 49cc

hey you should also try this, i found a way to start it without moving, you engage the clutch, and you put your left foot on the ground then you use your right foot to kick the pedal down while holding the rear tire up the right pedal of course, it is kind of hard though. but you should try it, or a pull start kit.

yeah Ive discovered that. i also discovered that the peddling up to 5mph is a waist. just let the clutch out slow and give it gas, like a car.. and the bike will go. oh and the gauges r from two different companies, amazon and spookytooth.

hey mike i ejoy your vids and your knowledge of these kits.....ive been looking to purchase a sky hawk soon as i see there there the best or thats what everyone seems to be saying...im curious what was your other 66 cc motor? zoom bikes and a few others are selling there kits from 60$ to 80$ less ,but i dont want a piece of junk in a box delivered to my door..also is there are big defferance from the gt-5 to the next smaller size? i hear its about.5 horse and a alot more noise and vibration.

well spookytoothcycles sells top of the line skyhawk motors that are rly good like mine. very reliable. uhmm 5horse i havnt heard about yet on a kit but, you can customize your own 5hourse from a lawn mower and then use kit parts
