  • I know weird question but did your feet get smaller as you lost weight?

  • you are my hero....I cry when I watch your videos....can't wait til I get to normalville!! thank you for posting on here!! You are an inspiration!!

  • Ouch! Ur on my toes, thx for bringing my fork in the road to my attention. You look amazing, thanks for keeping it real. Keep pushing~

  • How am I just watching this video? -You are the bombbbbbb diggidy, mama! -You are and always will be a complete success.

    I just looooooove you!

  • I was thinking about getting the lap band..but i've just turnt 14 and i don't think i should really get it,but my mum and nan think i should,i'm overweight for my age:( and no matter what i do,i just can't loose weight.

  • @shannonloveshimx There is nothing wrong with your body. Just focus on a healthy lifestyle - lots of fruits and veggies, lean meats, and exercise. I wish that someone had told me that when I was your age because I wouldn't be where I am today. Love yourself and your body no matter what you look like, but take care if it as well. :)

  • katie i am in the samw boat you are i have been there for awhile. But this week i have decided that i am worth it and to get back on that right turn. I started Monday C25k it is not easy by no means but i am pushing thourgh week one almost done. I am also counting everything that goes in my mouth and pushing water. So far i am down 6lbs and it is not even full week yet. I was banded sept 09 i have 56 pounds to goal. Thanks for making this video !

  • GREAT GREAT VIDEO!! GBY....Btw youre always looking pretty! :)

  • Progress, not perfection--yep! You got it! I agree! Go rock that bathing suit girl! You look A-Mazing!! So proud of and happy for you. You're going to get that last 20 pounds--this is just that fork, and it'll pass and you'll do it. Next year in Vegas, we drink! ;)

  • I am speaking to you and speaking to myself. We didn't go through everything we have went through to settle for anything less than our goal! Stop being comfortable and shoot for the moon.

  • Hi Katy, I have been following your journey and I am truly inspired by your accomplishments and reaching your goals. I am set for the lapband placement the first week in July and I am super excited. Thanks for always keeping it real and sharing.

  • One thing I appreciate about your videos is your ability to be 'real' and 'honest.' You don't sugar coat & just tell it like it is.I have been in the 'normalville' you described in the past.I became complacent with the weight losses time & time again. Before I knew it, I self-sabotaged & gained the weight back. I am not in that place now, but I can see how as comfort sets in it can happen. Kudos to you for recognizing the signs & working through it.You got this girl! Your'e gonna do it!

  • Katy, you will get this right! You will take the right way! Wow a size 10 swim suit! You go girl!

  • Katy this video is great. I'm there with you right now. It's so easy to go back and it's so great that you can admit the issues that your having. We all can relate. We definately can use each other's support and understanding. That's what makes youtube so wondeful.

  • lets face it, does anyone really have a completely perfect journey? sooo many of us are in comfortville KT. I've only got 2.5lbs to goal and even that isn't motivating me sometimes. Its a beautiful realisation and one that only true self honesty can alter. You have so much power and strength to have already lost 130lbs!!! you will now take your right turn and keep moving forward!. Your honesty is fabulous!. Lovin'it!. Onwards and downwards on the scales ladies!!! ..hugs x

  • sweetie your such a honest and sweet lady I love you so much..and was so happy to finally meet you...so wish I could of sat and talked with you....we all have those forks..lol your head is in the game sweetie ...I see all ready that your a success and we all have to rem. where we came from and you have come far!! push push I am still at the same number but I don't stop I know I CAN'T! cause mama will go right back...this video is amazing and thank you for it...love ya girly...love rosemary

  • I am exactly where you are. I have been in comfortville for about 5 months. Haven't gained or lost anything. Just stayed at 185 almost on the dot. Thank you for posting this video. I too, have to mentally make the decision to go right as well!!!

  • Sounds like u are alright on the start of the right turn by being aware and sharing with us keep goin you are in the home stretch for your goal!!

  • Have you had issues with excess loss skin?

  • P-U-S-H!

  • Congrats on your weight loss, you look fantastic! I call what you are going through the 'third voice' The first and second voices in our head we are use to one say 'you can't do this' the other one says 'Yes you can' and the third voice says "oh you look great just the way you are::......that comfortable spot when you know full well you want to go further and you will! Keep strong! You can do this!

  • most excellent video. time to go back and watch some of your 1st vids. sit there and really watch them. i still do that at this point in the journey. make a new photo montage. most important thing: KNOW THAT YOU WILL GET THERE. .. YOU WILL! the last 20 lbs are hard, the last 10 even harder, but those last TWO are the killer. hang in there. i am here for YOU! in pocket at all times. love ya katie! GREAT video!!! Onward that train has more stops to make.

  • katie, i've been having a similar problem ... i can't get out of the 180s and I haven't been able to push myself to the next level. I know i need to decrease my calories and calorie count again but I just don't want to! still 45 pounds from my goal weight and there's no way i'm giving up, but I am sure frustrated. I feel your pain :) Let's keep going and do what needs to be done!

  • Another great video and topic. I too am struggling with comfortville. You're right... it's all about staying the course and following those rules. You can do it Katie! You will.

  • Great video! The problem with me is I get to "comfortville" way, way too early. When I get down to around 210-220 lbs. I stop working. Right now, the scale is on the way UP! Katie, take that "right turn" BEFORE you go any further! You will feel like CRAP the longer you put it off! P.S. I think I'll follow my own advice & get off this rollercoaster! Thanks for the encouragement!

  • Fab video Katie! Great insight! Thank you very much!

  • always love your videos! I AM PROUD of you and EXTREMELY happy for you :) i love that you can point out what the problem is and you know what you have to do! YOU GOT IT :)

  • I just want to say thank you! Thank you for being real! I am very much like you in the way that I always lose weight and then gain it back. Go you fir making a good choice! Everyone counts. I passed up my chicken nuggets for a lean cuisine and practically gave myself a round of applause. Lol. So here's to you and your great choice! Cheers

  • You are awesome!!! Stepping up and taking control, taking that "right" path, this is an awesome video. Getting in that comfy zone is a danger for all of us, it's great that you recognized it and are stamping it out. You have the self control and insight to beat this for good!

  • You are almost there. Keep up the great work.

  • katie,

great video....I know exactly what you mean...my husband saying ...just live your looking good so thats my confy zone...but I did'nt have surgery to stay hear but to reach my goal...

    ciao Judy

  • You have done a fabulous job at losing weight I know what you are talking about however I feel no matter what you are going to win this fighting battle because you are so aware of where your at You will lose your weight and get to your goal and win this battle xoxo Fern

  • Love it! Progress not Perfection :)

  • I soooo understand your fork in the road -- I'm in normalville too -- and because of that I mentally have to push myself to go further -- love this vid! Thanks for putting this out there Katy :) Have a great week!

  • Great message Katie, thanks for the inspiration! You look fabulous!! You are a success & will continue to be b/c you make the decision to work at it regularly!

  • introspection is a good thing-- to stop and evaluate your goals from where you sit right now-- is a good thing...you will figure it out!

  • Just stay positive you'll get there!!

  • I hear you...I'm 27 weeks post, down 118lbs and you know I came from the 3s too. It is so easy to get distracted and off center. I'm fighting for that everyday- to stay centered and awake. I'm rooting for you!! Re-call your "Whys' and fight for them!

  • Ok..post button happy..anyway I start week 41 tomorrow!! I have 30 lbs to goal!! And ugh it's getting harder it seems!! Keep Pushing girlfriend!! We'll both make it!

  • Great update as usual! Gosh week 75 already (I start 41 to

  • I haven't had my surgery yet..but I have been at this point you are at once or twice before during my years of dieting and unfortunatly I always took the wrong turn but being on here and having all of these WLS sisters I hope that when I reach that fork again if I do that I have all my wls sisters to support me. So know we are all here for you maybe something to try to push you through is take some of your before pics and hang them around.especially the kitchen? So you see how far you have come?

  • I am in the same state of mind you are and have done video's on it as well !

  • love this. love you. love the energy and would like to order a platter of it for myself please and thanks. ;) so excited to see pics of maui and you rockin your tiny size 10 bathing suit! woo woo!

  • This is exactly how I am feeling. I am determined not to go back where I came from. But it is so HARD when we get COMFORTABLE.

  • You are sooo right!!! I have been closely following you as it appears that are starting weight and current weight appears to be the same each and every time you post. I am in Normalville as well with you!!! lol Trying to get out each week, and get to the push of this journey!! You help me sooo much and I thank you!!!!! The fork in the road and we both we CHANGE!!!

  • Just made a video and spoke about not being satisfied until you reach your goals!! I have learned that once I meet a goal I must make new ones. No matter how busy our lives are we must always remember to care for ourselves, it makes us a better person.

  • Soooo on the same page as you. I weigh the same as you and have been stalled for a month. I'm comfortable now...I can wear normal clothes and have a normal life, whatever that means! HOWEVER, not at goal and I know it. It's hard. I'm choosing that "right" path too. I think it's little tweaks. I'm going to move my exercise to the morning. That's huge for me but I think I'll be more consistent. Maybe after that it will be something else. Anyways, good luck and I'm with you!

  • Glad you decided to take the right lane! I'm so proud of your success thus far! I think we were banded fairly close to one another (mine was december 29,2009). We have even lost about the same amount of weight. The big difference is that I still have around 120 pounds left to lose. I'm having a tough time maintaining my proper path and this video is a great reminder not to give up! Thank you! <3

  • Well said Katie, glad you're taking a right in the fork in the road!

  • Katie - thanks for keeping it real - as always! Love ya, Ann-Marie

  • Katie, fantastic video. I just tried to look you up on facebook but I can't find you. :( Boo. Best of luck for the weekend!! Love Janine

  • Katie I love these kinds of videos! This is what I look for! It is not all sunshine and rainbows! I am only 10 weeks out and I need and want to know what happens at week 75! I appreciate all your videos! And you were one of the first ones I found when considering surgery! You are an inspiration to so many of us. I thought about your facebook comment yesterday about the enchillidas and tonight I had to make to seperate dinners, One for myself and one for my family. Keep on trucking girl!!

  • I can totally relate to what you are saying. I was so 'there' before Vegas. Vegas put the drive back in me. I am so glad for that. But I totally understand what you are talking about. I am not sure if it wasn't for Vegas I would have gone down the RIGHT fork. Thanks for being so open & honest on your journey.

Push girl, push!!!!! Birth that goal girlfriend.

  • You're always such an inspiration to me, I love your videos! When I'm having a bad week they always give me that extra push to help re motivate myself. Thank you!

  • Katie, I cant find you or Wendy on facebook. Could you possibly send me your (or wendys' link). Id really appreciate it! And as long as you realize your errors, you can fix them. Good Work.
