  • Them's is some good pickens

  • @wrbegin

    PICKINS

  • a pure Blues Jewell

  • I just saw him perform this live tonight, and as far as i could tell all the band members were the same as in this video, just 20 years older...

  • @floppaganda thts what im thinking, i saw them in san diego and the organ was amazing

  • @floppaganda Its not the same band, at all xD

  • I don't like. I love Eric and I will always respect him but he needs a Gibson and a Marshall stack.

  • @moonlightsea8

OOH so true, such a shame that his best work came to him so soon. Thats John Mayall and the Bluesbreaker's for those who don't already know.

  • The best version by far is by the band Free with Kossoff on the guitar, Kirke on the drums, Fraser on the Bass, and of cours Rodgers on vocals.

  • Duane Allman sang this so well. I can't imagine anyone singing this as well as he did--not even Gregg. Loved Paul Hornsby's piano on Duane's versoin. EC's version was kind of a snoozer.

  • Lightnin Hopkins and Eric Bibb covers are the best

  • the best goin down slow is by far, by far, by the great, Bobby "Blue" Bland

  • God, Phillipgaines is such a horrible blues keyboard player. He sounds like a cheap church organist

  • The best version by far of Ligfhtnin Hopkins and also the Eric Bib.

I'm Tired tolistening the same blues solo for forty years.

  • Duane Allman does this 1 way better

  • One good version is Big Mama Thoronton, one of the very originals

  • DUANE ALLMAN does this better with more soul.

  • @Skyman46 As does Electric Flag-Mike Bloomfield!!

  • led zep covered this song live, believe it or not

  • By far the best version of this is Clapton's at Budokan posted by Slunky. This version is plain by comparison, not to take anything away from E.C. who always blows me away.

  • I've heard about 12 different covers of this. Duane Allman's version blows them all away, including Clapton here, who's vocal performance is way above average but his guitar, to me, is a little lackluster coming from him.

  • Love this version, but I still prefer Duane Allman's.

  • Clapton is still God!

  • Oh yeah i love this! This verison is great. I love to listen to Otis Spann playing this song too tho.

  • Clapton is a master bluesman who is now a living legend from England. Many young fplks should listen to Cream and the Beatle's tracks he has done to get a feel. Then listen to Derek and the Dominoes live and you'll know what us old school folks are talking about.

  • So much Soul
