I wouldn't say it is the same as social security. There is no promise of huge returns with SS. Withdrawls are more predictable with SS so it is better accounted for. His Ponzi scheme fell apart when too many people took their money out and he couldn't pay it. I don't think this will happen with SS but there is a danger with fewer people working and paying into it and people living longer on he benefits. I think there is a better way but haven't seen it yet.
AS for SS - everyone that receives a paycheck - I am implying illegals here - should pay into SS. That is but one reason to let them work - pay taxes and SS. They already reap social services - pay for the shit, fuckers.

I can't see how this guy is still walking around. If I ripped off a tiny percentage of what he did I would be locked up immediately. This guy robbed people of everything they had. It shows how you should not put all your eggs in one basket though. Honestly, I hope he just kills himself and saves everyone from a circus event trial. Take whatever he has left and distribute it to who they can. No matter what people are going to be burned in this (already have been). Sad...very sad.

There is no way a fraud this large was done by one man and NOBODY else knew. Impossible. I was reading about the SEC investigating him a few times and finding NO irregularities. How is this possible if his fraud was so blatant? If he really did what he is accused of there are many others that knew and were paid off. He is old and figures he will get a light sentence or just die before trial years from now. Watch it come out that he has cancer or something and he's dying.

Madoff the magnificent ran a common pyramid scheme, moving moneys to clients on top from new investors coming in at the bottom.. EXACTLY THE SAME PYRAMID SCHEME OUR GOVERNMENT IS RUNNING WITH SOCIAL SECURITY.. Inevitably when the economy hit a bump in the road, the pyramid simply crumbled.

I wouldn't say it is the same as social security. There is no promise of huge returns with SS. Withdrawls are more predictable with SS so it is better accounted for. His Ponzi scheme fell apart when too many people took their money out and he couldn't pay it. I don't think this will happen with SS but there is a danger with fewer people working and paying into it and people living longer on he benefits. I think there is a better way but haven't seen it yet.

AS for SS - everyone that receives a paycheck - I am implying illegals here - should pay into SS. That is but one reason to let them work - pay taxes and SS. They already reap social services - pay for the shit, fuckers.

I am not antisemitic as some of my dearest friends are Jews, but there appears to be a two tier system of justice in this country: one set of rules applies (or does not apply, depending on your perspective) to Jews and one set of rules apply to the rest of us.
It's disappointing that Bob won't say the "J" word, but everyone else appears to be afraid to do so, too.
