Woah, who is the interviewer? I can see that he's trying to be nonchalant about their humour, but instead he just comes across as a condescending jackass. Hugh and Stephen are amazingly hilarious in this, its perfect. I love how so many of their jokes go right over this guys head.
How amazing is it that Hugh had to run off in the middle of a sketch because William was being born? ;) I just imagine how Stephen rushed to the hospital as soon as he was finished filming :)
1:12 happen to me with harry potter but i think the filmsare quiote good all teh same. In a 'behind teh scenes' i saw from the 4th film theysaid about how they learnt card tricks between filming
"Did you know you can get it from the sun, as well as a bottle?" "What, the tan?" Hahaha! Zing!
I love how they just completely take over the interview. And the way Stephen Fry's hand flew to his mouth when he realized he'd said "Tamp on" was adorable.
Stephen Fry has always played with words in that way, though. I very much doubt that he didn't know exactly what he was saying. The hand-on-mouth thing was just feigned innocence.
It was very nicely done, though. There's not many people who could get away with a joke like that on BBC1 at seven in the evening. :D
Their interviews are something extra. Their witty and their way of using the language. This the most interesting and hilarious interview with them put up on Youtube. Funnier to see them in interviews together, than apart.
i always thought fry&laurie sketch shows were always a bit far-fetched and frustratingly juvenile, but as these talk shows are foreign to viewers outside of britain, it is tickling to see the effort to bring the scripted comedy into other useless tv shows (if it is a real show?). i do enjoy the efforts of the two of them, but clearly this is the result of my love of the jeeves and wooster series. not much to say after that.
Nobody laughs much at Fry and Laurie which I find odd as they are being increadibly witty here, especially when Laurie said "Fry had started reading Wodehouse at the age of two, long before he could read". Love F&L
Love this. F&L kick butt. Poor Wogan is so outclassed you almost feel sorry for him. But he gets pissy when he says he can't remember the name of their show (Yeah, sure!) Fry is treating this like a sketch and I LOVE IT! First Hugh says "I didn't even know she was pregnant!" Then he labels Wogan lady stroke gentleman I just about died because I couldn't catch my breath. The look Wogan gives at 6:17 is priceless. He is so angry!!! Hee hee hee hee hee. F&L RULE!!!!

My god, Wogan is such an unbelievable pompous and humourless twat. No match for these two brilliant, talented gods;-).

"We went to the drama school of life - like our prime minister." (really liked how the it took the audience some time before they laughed).
Haha. I can image the image of Hugh running off to hospital, all dressed up in Bertie's clothes. Hilarious. In fact: The whole interview is hilarious.

£2.95 for that book? Talk about inflation. That kind of book would be worth about six or seven quid nowadays o.O
