I can use the bow better than he can, and i've been using it for two weeks practicing for totaly 3 hours or so, and his fingering is a bit of, this does not deserve being called advanced.

You're never supposed to use the third finger for a note until you get to the upper register because it strains the wrist. Learned that from Ben Wolfe himself.

extremly wrong. the basics and the feel are the most important but they have to improve as time passes and more...there are alot of bow tehniques and "tricks" for the left hand that must be learned and practiced to perfect. im sayin' all this if u wanna be a pro:)

Does anyone know the requirements to become an Expert Village "educator?" What are this guy's credentials? Where is Expert Village finding these people? So much of what this guy is demonstrating is simply wrong. If I were reliant on Expert Village as my sole instructor, I would have to spend years reteaching myself, with an actual competent teacher, to unlearn their infinitely bad advice.
