@Maxi3242 i think i know how he made it. he went to a hardware store and bought 8 wooden cubes that are 1/2" and he drilled holes in one corner in each of the wooden cubes. he then took apart the mini 2x2 and put the wooden cubies on the core of the mini 2x2

You clearly don't know what you're talking about. Solving a 2x2 is the exact same as solving only the corners on a 3x3. And, on that note, you get the exact same options on both. You have 6 faces to turn on both, since neither puzzle has moving centers.
