Actually, this gem was developed by the same English company that would later create the Lego series (Star Wars, Harry Potter, Batman, etc.) -- Traveler's Tales. I can only guess that Traveler's Tales didn't have the right software/hardware in making this game as three-dimensional as Donkey Kong Country.

I think that this game looks fine for graphics- as far as the no Sega argument, null and void- Sega by that time had learned many tricks to compensate for the lack of colours, most notably "filtering" (messing with the shades to make it appear as if they had more colours than before, when infact it was the same colour, just lightened) As well by that time they had there answer to DKC in Vector Man- if you want to be credible, you have to research more and see more than one side, consANDpros
