I'm in my 20's and Woody has been my favorite filmmaker since I was about 15 or so. All I have to say is our top fives are identical albeit not in the same order. Cheers!

Pretty good list for a kid...you...not me. But you're really mistaken with the black and white filming comment. He films in black and white NOT so people concentrate on the characters in the movie, but because it is so artful and beautiful. Woody describes it best. Look it up. But good job, kid.
im suprised no one has mentioned love and death. the qoutes in the movie are fantastic they bash the most serious subjects in life and fill the movie with comedy. Its almost a homage to his mentor, Groucho Marx with the slapstick and to Charlie Chaplain

Good stuff dude! I actually just started getting into his films. I lost interest in Manhattan, half way through. I'll have to revisit that someday.
