  • Is it possible to only take the bus from the park back to the stop without having to take the bus there?

  • @unknowndude99, Yes, you can take the bus just one way. Just pay the $4.00 fare when you get on the bus and you'll be good to go! Thanks!!

  • My teenage daughter used your express service today for Six Flags. She texted me to tell me that there was a large group of kids on the bus that were extremely disruptive. She was uncomfortable with the ride all the way up to Gurnee. What does Pace do to instill a sense of security in their passengers?

I will now probably have to pick her up in Gurnee because I am not sure she will be safe on the bus at night on the way back to Schaumburg. That really is a shame.

  • Hello @HeyAntnee, thank you for posting your comment. While we do take safety precautions very seriously, there may be times when drivers are more focused on the road then on the behavior of young passengers. We sincerely appologize to you and your daughter for this inconvenience. We will inform the garage management of this incident, but if possible we strongly recommend submitting a complaint to our Customer Relations department at 847-364-7223. Thank You!

  • During Fright Fest the park opens at 11 and closes at 11. What time will the bus leave the Schaumburg bus station?

  • On days when the park opens at 11am, the bus departs Schaumburg at 10:00am. Please remember that the fright fest service will only be available for Saturdays and Sundays.

  • @PaceSuburbanBus Great that's perfect.

  • Is the bus gonna be running for Fright Fest this year?

  • Hello jackluver19, sorry for the delayed response. Yes, this bus will be available on Saturdays and Sundays for Fright Fest this year. Thanks!

  • @PaceSuburbanBus No worries, thank you for getting back to me.

  • can you pay with cash? or do i have to buy a card?

  • When the bus enters the Rosemont Station just after the River Road Toll Plaza the bus enters the road to the terminal such as your route 606 video

  • When the bus departs the Northwest Transportation Center the bus takes Woodfield Road then to I-290 then I-90 To Rosemont

  • When the bus departs the Rosemont Station the bus can't enter I-90 from River Road to Six Flags Great America

  • Thanks for pointing this out to us, GuitarHeroMaster634! Also, thanks for watching our other videos!

  • How much is it ?

  • Hello M3lvin101. The fare is $4.00 per person each way. Thanks!

  • CollegeJoe, I am sorry if that caused confusion for you. The bus itself should not have had Six Flags as a destination on that Friday. We will contact our Northwest Division to clarify why this occurred. As for the wait at the end of the day, we do realize that a number of minors wait for the return trip at the same location, and we do try to get there before the park closes. However, due to traffic in the area, driver assignments, etc., this is not always possible. Thanks for informing us!

  • Hello CollegeJoe! We are actually only running this service on Saturdays and Sundays in the month of October. The bus with the Six Flags design was more than likely completing another route or on its way to start a run. Did the bus sign itself say Six Flags Express, or Pace Route 284? If so, this may be something we have to address. The schedule for this week is Saturday and Sunday, the bus departs Schaumburg at 9:00am and Rosemont at 9:20am. Thank You!

  • I will be taking the #90 bus to the Blue line train. The train will let me off at the Rosemont stop. The #284 is my third ride on my bus card. That is normally the free ride. Would that be my free ride on this bus or would you take more money out of my bus card?

  • Cassandrawht, thank you for posting your question. Because the Six Flags Great America Express route is a premium fare route, this will not count as a free ride. You will be allowed to use your card and it will credit the $1.75, but you will also have to pay a surcharge of $2.25 (each way) to make up the difference.

    Thanks for riding Pace!

  • Okay can someone please answer me on this: is there ANY other Bus Route that goes to Six Flags besides this Express? Because I want to go on a Monday but this stupid route doesn't run on Mondays...seriously what gives?

If not, is there a train or some other public transportation that goes there?

  • Sorry to dissappoint, Camilo. Yes, this route only runs on weekends due to funding constraints. If you want to take public transportation, you can take Metra to Waukegan, and get the 565 bus at Waukegan to Great America. We do not have any other routes from Schaumburg (or any other area) other than the express. I hope this helps...

  • I have questions! I'll be catching your bus next week. Do I need to book a ticket? Is it ever the case that there are more passengers than the bus can take? How do some passengers get prioritised over others?

  • Thank you for watching the video!! Nope, you do not need to book tickets in advance...you pay when you get on the bus. There are times when we have a large crowd at either station, and when we do we try to provide additional buses when we can. Seats are on a 1st-come-1st-servce basis, but passengers can choose to stand. There is no priority seating except for passengers with disabilities. If you have any other questions, please let us know. Thank You!!

  • Thanks Mega! If you ever have any questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to send us an email.

  • @MegaElpedro Hello MegaElpedro,

Well, we do the best we can considering our service area is HUGE! Either way, Pace and CTA appreciate your support of public transit!
