The context of the night did not call for this interrogation. For one night, baseball forgave Rose and Grey should have recognized that and left it alone. I saw that interview as it happened and was angered that Grey did not show more class on that night. Regardless of how "YOU" feel about Rose, he was not the bad guy at that moment.

Not knocking the guys talent or staticistic. He is def a hall of famer, without a doubt. Fact is he got caught breaking the rules and bet on his own team. Not only that, he was betting on score spreads of his team, which as a manager has a direct influence with decision making and the integrity of the game. If he had just said, "i messed up, i tarnish the game that i love" yadda yadda, he would have no problem, He's just to stubborn for his own good.
