450 Eley only 8% of production in this calibre, its different to the .455 Webley (which is the only .455 calibre)
If yours is an Eley, its valuable.
Some 450's were factory converted to 455 and sold to Commonwealth governments for war use.
.455 with last '5' struck out has been converted to 45 Colt, if done at factory, pistol will letter up:-)

What serial number do you have? I think I have a S&W hand ejector but I cant be sure if its not a regular S&W 1917.
It has British proofing marks on it and was once chambered in .455 but the last 5 was struck out with an x stamp.
