Good to see advice from fellow restaurant owners. For the prospective restauranteurs out there, check out my channel. I offer two handbooks for free that speak to those who want to open their own restaurant business.
this person is way off. First dont try to be all things to all people a huge menu is a huge mistake! Do the thing you have a passion for, cuban, Italian, french or what ever. If you love what you do then it will show. Not everyone will do well thats what I love about Simon Cowl and Gordan Ramsey they have not lost touch with reality or honesty.
Great Comment! A really different and useful perspective, the interview with this client was specific to his market.
Not all marketing strategies will work for every situation. So your comment is relevant but again neither one is an absolute solution to everyone's unique situation.
@whatasite In the world of the internet, that was an astoundingly good-natured reply. It is true what you say -- no matter the business model, if you aren't in the right place, it just won't fly. An year-round open-air Tiki bar isn't going to make it in Pennsylvania, it just won't. Keep up the good work, and the great advice!
We had a corrupted video so only the audio was available for this interview. This guy does provide some valuable insight into running your own restaurant. I am glad you found it useful.
