The first time I visited "Il Veneto" and the town of Vincenza specifically, I was excited to see "La Rotunda" it was then I understood why many architectural historians believe it one of the single most influential structures of the modern era, having a profound impact for centuries following its construction! Some have even suggested that Thomas Jeffersons' Beloved "Monticello" was somewhat based on this Palladian Masterwork!
