actually in this moment there's an overlap of genres..tom middleton is a deep house dj,or how someone calls it deep tech house,because in fact it is tech house but with a deep blend...i wouldn't call it trance,even if it has some trippy atmospheres in it,also because it's not as fast as trance..however,what's fundamental here is to listen to this song! :)
