It is true that Crean started off with nothing and I didn't hold it against him at all that we sucked in his first year. But he's had three seasons, two full seasons of recruiting and we were still 12-20 with the weakest schedule I've ever seen and a mere 3 wins against the Big 10. He shouldn't be getting excuses any more, not after being the worst Big 10 team last year.
I'm happy to see that Crean is apparently fairly good at recruiting, but his ass should be canned if the team isn't substantially better next season. To comment on Ron "Buss" Patterson, I wouldn't be surprised to see him on the edge or even break 5 star status when it's all said and done. Dude is intense. He can play lock-down D, is athletic, and shoot.

@CharlestownBaseball well here's the thing..nobody is guarenteed a champioship just by their recruits, the last 2 years our guys was great but they lacked experience. this year we got some experience. we got great chance to win it this year.Calipari is an amazing coach. no other coach coulda rebuilt Kentucky in one year like he did. tubby smith killed us, and Calipari brought us back to life. Oh, and I will preempt my fellow Hoosier fans' excuses that I know will come at my statements. It is true that Crean started off with nothing and I didn't hold it against him at all that we sucked in his first year. But he's had three seasons, two full seasons of recruiting and we were still 12-20 with the weakest schedule I've ever seen and a mere 3 wins against the Big 10. He shouldn't be getting excuses any more, not after being the worst Big 10 team last year.

I'm happy to see that Crean is apparently fairly good at recruiting, but his ass should be canned if the team isn't substantially better next season. I love IU, it was my school and I will always root for them and hope for the best, but Hoosier fans need to cut the shit. He's the highest paid state employee and he hasn't done a goddamn thing. So no, I am not willing to give him to 2012 just to see him coach these recruits. If we aren't above .500 next season, he deserves to be gone, period.

I assumed Engineers were good at Math but if not 154 > 28. 28 is the lowest amount in the Big Ten conference and Purdue only had 13 before 2009 'David Boudia.' 13 Titles in 140 years??? I'll be debating a Kentucky fan until Purdue wins 130 more Titles. At the rate you're going you should reach it in about 1400 years. See 13 x 10 = 130 and 140 x 10 = 1400.

IU had better be a significantly improved team next year or else they had better get someone else to coach this amazing 2012 recruit class. I am sorry but Crean hasn't proven himself worthy of his massive salary (highest paid IN state employee). I know he came in during a tough time but he's now had three seasons, time for my fellow IU fans to cut the bullshit and stop making excuses. This goes with my post below.... Jurkin will compliment Cody Zeller beautifully! With CZ's ability to step out beyond the perimiter and hit 3's, PJ will play inside. Same can be said of CZ and Hanner Perea. GREAT combo!!! They're strengths are the other's weaknesses, and combined well..... To comment on Ron "Buss" Patterson, I wouldn't be surprised to see him on the edge or even break 5 star status when it's all said and done. Dude is intense. He can play lock-down D, is athletic, and shoot.
