  • Great to see a fellow scot so strong!! It takes a real man to dig your own sons grave and bury him in the back yard. This is the way for me. No enbalming, no cremation, no chemicals, no casket. Just wrapped in a shroud and being returned to the earth from where we all came. Beautiful.

  • For me, a full body burial in a casket, into a concrete vault so when the good Lord comes on the last day he only has to open the box and all my remains are in one place.

  • The song if you want to find it

The Proclaimers - Sunshine On Leith

  • I loooove the message of this program! We got appreciate each day God give us with our family and friends because tomorrow we dont know if we are going to be still here.

  • buried in the yard AAALRIGHTY THEN!!!

  • I really enjoyed watching this and the other parts. It made me think about how I want to ''end the show'' and how I'd prepare a funeral for someone else I love that would be original and involve the things they loved in life.

I'd like people to smile and laugh at my funeral, making people laugh is probably what I'm best at and I'd rather people be happy than upset, it would make me happier.

  • Love the idea of a natural burial with a tree planted above. Wouldn't it be more beautiful thing to see a forest of trees and flowering shrubs in a cemetary than a traditional field of tomb stones?

  • Its Boab..

  • i love how the narrator says 'bob' in the first half

    BOOB

  • Ditto to that I just want to say thank you I was scared when I first started watching and now I feel a lot better I have lot to think about but this will make it easier

  • ditto to that I was scared at first when I watched the first episode you give me lots to think about thank you

...I do believe I said "I am American." Cut me some slack dude. But I'm pretty sure I heard an Irish accent. Next time can you be a little more respectful next time you critique a person. My comment was pretty benign and I don't think I deserved such a malicious reply.

  • @juicylolipop93 It is a Scottish accent mate. (The father, you mean?) Definitely Scottish. Edinburgh.

  • I don't get a single word of what the scottish guy is saying

  • See this is what happens when kids listen to Justin Bieber on their Ipod's. I hate you Justin Bieber

  • @LaFlacs

Oh Yes! I'd like to know that too! It is so harmonically inspired -- like yer hearing sumpthin' frumma differnt reality! Beautiful! I hope someone has the answer, LaFlacs! Thx! /~_~\

  • Congrats on being a Druid Steeley, and I apprerciate yr nice comment here. I don't want to rain on yr parade, you seem a nice person to me, BUT all historic sources of info (Pliny the Younger and Tacitus) on the Druid sect as it was b4 the Romans arrived in Britain, record that they were all male. Perhaps they allowed female worshippers, I don't know, however the only historic info refers to the D.s being exclusively male, especially the priesthood. Druid 'priestesses' are a more modern idea.

  • i love the accent. i'm american with a chicago and southern accent. but i love the way scottish and irish people sound. it sounds awesome! 5 stars by the way

  • @juicylolipop93 I have a new york accent and I can not understand a word that irish guy said

  • @juicylolipop93 This isn't a Scottish accent, you dumb-ass, it's an English accent!

  • Thank you, GhostWatching! This was very enjoyable and informative!!

  • So nice that Boab is at home...RIP lad...xx

  • Nope - a few times I would have to wipe down my car before leaving work, although that was only after we had been working round the clock for lack of space.

  • Once buried, decomp is much more rapid and complete than ppl imagine. Buried in the right site even bone will rot and disappear quickly. In the wrong site, bones may still be intact a LONG time later, or archaeologists wd not know as much abt ppl of past ages. In acid soil a dog buried without wrapping or shroud will disintegrate completely (no bones left) within 6 - 12 months. All that is left is rich soil. I plant trees on my old dogs when they die, so I always know where they are buried.

  • Nice. We buried a much-loved cat under the rose bushes she liked to sleep under.

As a druid, I want to be buried under trees, so I can be useful.

  • Fabulous.
