you missed a secret, you had to kill the pirahna plant alone on the pillar at the end of the level, il leads to a secret "level" (actually the part to the left of the level 14).

You missed a secret in the Diggin' It level. There's a small island with a seed spitting plant on it at about 15:31. Body slam him and you'll be warped away to a secret.

I don't know why the hammer guys bothered showing up in this level. They're only a problem when you are underground, and they were nowhere near those parts, soooo.
