I love me some black keys, but I often wish they'd stop with the backing guitars in the shadows and just had more members. the potential for a fuller and richer sound from a five piece band is hard to compare to as a two piece. (2 and a half I guess with the shadow rhythm section) that being said, I can't really say that the cover was all I had hoped. you cant own someone else's song without making it your own. it was good, it was lonely boy. it could have been a lot more. hope to see more.

Why does this band keep putting black keys covers on utube to try and sell there own music? Why dont they stick to putting there own music on?.....i noticed they put a cover of 'little black submarines' on here before the album was released, this show alot of disrespect towards the black keys and music in general.......covers are fine when you play live and are of music that is atleast a few years old but trying to 'piggy back' on to a bands new songs is just plain wrong........have some respect

Either though our studio is not the biggest one in the world we have world class equipment and of course having me mixing it makes it great :) But really... the key is to keep it simple! BTW... there's lots of leakage in the mics... the key to get a good sound this way is to pay close attention to the phase issues. Hope this helps.

god that tone is sweet on the strat. The lead vocals are well suited too. Really there's nothing about this to dislike, I see a group of guys having a blast doing what they love to do and it comes through in the music. You did the Key's proud.

This is bunk man. I get the feeling you are trying to capitalize on the black keys by doing this. You loose a vital rawness in the song by trying to master it note for note. I can bet the Keys themselves wouldn't even play it that tight and clinical.

I'd say you should just stick to your originals and leave other artists material and style out of it...for your own sake. Have a little soul with your ambition.
